Get me out of here!

Get me out of here!

With Spring on our doorstep, it is time to shake off those Winter Blues, and not a moment too soon!

Although our borders are sadly still closed ….and this does make me envious of those trapped in the Sunshine State, it does not mean that we are without some pretty amazing places  to go for a holiday.

So if you are ready to break out the suitcase and get out of here,  then these holiday destinations are waiting for you.

Visit Bouddi National Park with a  stay at  Pretty Beach house

Pretty Beach house, an exclusive lodge located on the Bouddi Peninsular, places you right there amongst the most pristine Australian bushland. With 7 beautiful beaches and bays to enjoy and coastal walking trails to explore, you will be spoilt for choice. But it is the hotel philosophy of welcoming  you as if in a private home, with all meals and beverages provided that will have you not wanting to leave.

If you need more action, head out on the trails with a mountain bike, or perhaps  take a  VIP Private Pearl Farm Tour. There is also the chance  to get to know some locals with a private ranger tour of Australian Walkabout Park.

Relax at Salamander Bay with a stay at Bannisters Port Stephens

When Paradise is white sand beaches, and infinite ocean views, then a stay at Bannisters Port Stephens could be the escape you are wishing for. And you can even bring your dog along too!

There are many beaches to explore, a koala habitat to visit, and some exquisite dining to sample. For the adrenaline seekers,  a visit to the nearby Stockton sand dunes can have you showing off your quad biking or sandboarding  skills  or perhaps a more leisurely scenic tour atop a camel is your style.  A cruise on the water can have you swimming with dolphins or depending on the time of year, some epic whale spotting.

Escape the world with a stay at Marra Marra Lodge

Where the road ends, the river begins and that is the start of your unique journey to Marrra Marra Lodge. The exclusive Marra Mara Lodge lies on the peninsular of the Hawkesbury River, where guests can only arrive by water.  Your stay will not leave you wanting, with  full board and boat transfers provided. Here you can relax by the pool amongst the beautiful scenery or for the more energetic take a hike with a picnic lunch. For the water lovers, kayak across the river to Bar Point, or hire a boat for your own exploration further afield. Rest assured, you can do as much or as little as you like.
