  • Australia Unearthed

Between 55 and 10 million years ago, Australia became an isolated continent. Since this separation from Gondwana (the supercontinent in the Jurassic period), Australia moves north roughly seven centimetres per year. It is discovered that over 48,000 years ago was the first arrival of humans, the Traditional Owners of the land. A rock shelter that dates back roughly 65,000 years ago was found in Arnhem Land.

The geography and cultures of this land are rich in history. And today, this land is known as ‘the lucky country’. The country that brings desert, oceans, canyons, tropical regions, snow, mountains, cityscapes and coastal lifestyles together. Some may call this country their home, some may call it a destination they wish to uncover. Whether Australia is a home or destination to you, there’s so much to do, so much to see and so much to taste. Keep reading, we know you’ll be itching to unearth this island home in no time.

Now, we’ve picked our favourite things to do, see and taste in Australia. It’s your turn to choose which holiday scratches your itch to get amongst the greater Oz. Speak to your personal travel manager today or browse the following deals below.
