What an incredible experience, I got to head over to Vanuatu for a week in May. Now don’t get me wrong the weather wasn’t the greatest but a little rain never did put a dampener on my travels, it’s all apart of the adventure!
Whilst in Vanuatu I got to experience some absolutely amazing hotels, incredible hospitality and do some pretty amazing activities.
By far my highlight was zip lining down the mountain! Now I’m super scared of heights but this experience didn’t rock me at all… except maybe clinging onto those first couple of trees before realising that you just need to let go and enjoy yourself!
A couple of my favourite places to stay in Vanuatu which I would highly recommend is the Iririki Resort, the Holiday Inn and the Warwick Le lagon.
The people are amazing and have been building themselves back up after the cyclones hit. The roads aren’t in fabulous shape but hey neither are the ones around us right!
Some of the activities that are on my bucket list for when I go back are:
– buggy ride finishing on the beach
– blue lagoon and cascades
– sunset cruise
– fishing charter just to name a couple.
