Luxury Conservation Brand Singita Reveals Stunning New Look for Malilangwe House

Singita Malilangwe House is set in the remote Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve in southeast Zimbabwe. The newly refurbished property reopened in July 2019, and its cliffside setting, perched atop a rocky outcrop, offers guests sweeping views of the reserve and dam below.

The redesign takes its cues from nature and from the region’s Shangaan culture. Open, spacious and welcoming, Singita Malilangwe House evokes a fluid transition between indoor and outdoor areas. The raised outdoor dining platform and interactive kitchen area seamlessly create a sense of luxury and community, and each of the five bedrooms feature its own private deck.

The rich textures, geometric patterns, tile inlays and hammered brass interiors, draw inspiration from the rich tribal heritage of ancient Zimbabwe.

Guests can explore the surrounding Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve, and with luck, encounter the animals who call it home. The endangered black rhino, elephants, cheetahs, lions, leopards and abundant birdlife in the area all make Singita Malilangwe House a game-viewing paradise.
