New Luxury Hotel Opening on Buckingham Gate in 2020

A new purpose-built boutique hotel has been slated to open on Buckingham Gate in 2020. The Guardsman will offer an unparalleled level of luxury, discretion and privacy – just what you would expect from a hotel located right near the London residence of her Royal Highness, Queen Elizabeth II.

The property offers 53 intimate rooms along with six exclusive residences designed for longer term stays. Guests can choose between one, two, and three bedrooms, all with luxurious living spaces and fully fitted kitchens. The rooms have been meticulously designed featuring bespoke furnishings and curated art throughout. There is also the option to personalise your residence stay with preferred drink brands, menu items and bathroom products.

The dining and socialising spaces are generously spread over two floors. The restaurant is open for residents and their guests only.

The hotel has based its design and philosophy on creating a tailored, personal experience with a luxury “at home” feel.

Four Seasons Hualalai Adds Exclusive Iliahi Farm and Spa Experience

The latest edition to the Big Island of Hawaii’s Four Seasons Hualalai ‘Only at Hualalai’ experiences draws on the knowledge of the natural healing properties of native plants and flowers found on the island.

The Iliahi Farm and Spa Experience offers guests and club members insight into the Hawaiian culture through nature and medicine. The experience has been designed in partnership with Haloa Aina, an organic and sustainable sandalwood farm. Iliahi (or Sandalwood) is native to Hawaii. It has been used for generations as an anti-viral and anti-inflammatory, as well as for promoting mental clarity.

Four Seasons guests will travel via private helicopter or luxury SUV to Haloa Aina. Surrounded by sandalwood trees, they can enjoy a picnic lunch, which can be personalised to suit dietary requirements, after which guests will return to the resort and experience the Iliahi Forest Essence spa treatment. The treatment begins with a meditative sound journey, followed by an Iliahi scrub, body cocoon and massage to maximise the healing benefits.

The experience is offered from Monday – Thursday for groups of two to six people.
