Banyan Tree launches the SafeSanctuary program

Banyan Tree all-villa Resort, Bintan Island, Indonesia

The Banyan Tree Group, known for pioneering wellbeing for guests and associates, is rolling out an Organisational Wellbeing index to assess and respond to associates’ wellbeing, as well as a regional Tele-therapy service to help support emotional and mental health. Self-care, mindfulness and resilience modules are already available for both associates and guests.

Within the SafeSanctuary programme, additional global standards will focus on deep rest through sleep, activities emphasising the connection to Nature, and culinary offerings emphasising plant-forward menus and ingredient integrity.

Other highlights of the program include rigorous cleaning and distancing protocols focusing on high-traffic public areas as well as high-touch areas in-room with EPA-approved and recommended cleaning agents. There will be limited capacity quotas in enclosed areas and for group activities. Guest amenities, linens and bedding will be thoroughly steamed and arrive fully protected in-room, ensuring a pristine and comfortable night of sleep.

The company will be going contactless as much as possible with in-room directories and restaurant menus being replaced with digital options for convenient access on personal devices. Check-in and check-out processes and experiences such as personal health and fitness classes, cooking sessions or wellbeing consultations, may be conducted in-room to enable a vacation prioritising privacy.

Banyan Tree Group’s primary mission is to create sanctuaries to live well, and is dedicating all efforts to ensure a Safe Sanctuary for guests’ return.

Has the most opulent villa in Australia surfaced?

Hermes Estate Luxury Retreat, Promised Land, Gleniffer, NSW

Paradise has been found in a hidden town known as Gleniffer, 12 minutes from Bellingen at the Hermes Estate Luxury Retreat. This divine oasis offers complimentary Dom Perignon, a library with an 1867 first edition Charles Dickens and a personal butler and chef at the ready.

Your personal butler will chauffeur you to any local tours outside of the property from private surfing lessons to hot air ballooning. While your private chef will offer you a vacation or a wellness menu with local organic produce sourced from the Bellingen area. Of course one would expect no less than being served on Villeroy and Boch plates and sipping from Waterford crystal.

This estate set on five acres has had a six million dollar transformation which includes a French-inspired décor, and Russian artworks by Ladovsky’s pieces adorning the walls.

This is a couples’ wonderland where you are the only guest on site. The estate is nestled into the fertile, mossy banks of the fresh, pristine Never Never River.  As the Estate’s guest, you have 500m of private riverfront to yourself.

A cool, canopied oasis, surrounded by lush rainforest, the river area is a true escape from the rest of the world. One can absorb the sound of the water trickling over the smooth, cool rocks and feel your worries floating away with it as you sip your bubbles and wonder what tomorrow will bring.

Wellness guests can indulge in a myriad of wholesome activities on site, keeping them focused on a healthier lifestyle, reinforcing new neurological patterns of behaviour.

The elegant property is available all year round. For more information speak to your personal travel manager.
