Chiva-Som International Health Resort has announced the launch of a new wellness resort in Qatar, in partnership with Msheireb Propertities – the Middle East’s first full-immersion wellness resort. The resort, which is slated to open mid-2020 will have the prestige of being the world’s first centre for Traditional Arabic Integrative Medicine (TAIM).

Named Zulal Wellness Resort, with “Zulal” meaning “purified water”, the resort aims to capture the history and culture of Qatar and the people’s journey across land and sea in search of water.

The resort will cater for individuals and couples with adults-only offers, and also for families, promoting the philosophy that wellness is for everyone. A dedicated Family Wellness Resort will welcome guests of all ages, with 120 guest rooms and suites available. The adjacent Wellness Resort will cater for individuals, couples, and groups of adults across 60 adults-only suites and villas.

The resort has designed a specially curated menu featuring Arabic and Mediterranean wellness cuisine.

Chiva-Som is known to operate sustainable and environmentally friendly practices, which will be part of the ongoing operation and philosophy at Zulal Wellness Resort.
