In celebration of 30 years of the iconic Pyramid, Airbnb and the Louvre are coming together to offer a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

On the 30th of April, one lucky winner and a guest will be have the rare chance to explore the Louvre after hours on a bespoke art tour where guests can toast to the Mona Lisa while reclining on a Parisian lounge sofa, feast with Venus de Milo and enjoy a concert in Napoleon III’s lavish Apartments. The iconic Hall of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles is to serve as venue for a dance party that would even put the former Queen of France (Marie Antoinette) to shame.

Although the Château de Versailles has hosted classical music concerts, balls and cultural events in the past, Versailles Électro will be its first foray into the festival scene.  The event is being put together by DJ and former Daft Punk manager Busy P, and his record label, Ed Banger Records. A group of renowned DJs in the electronic scene will perform in the famous Hall of Mirrors, and the gardens adjoining the Hall will be transformed into one epic dance floor.

Those really wanting to party like the royals can upgrade to the VIP package for an additional €160, which offers access to a private lounge, an unlimited buffet and champagne.
