With so many luggage choices, which one is right for your trip?

Whether you are packing for your first trip away or you’re a seasoned traveller, you want to ensure you choose the right bag for your trip.

There are a couple of points to consider when choosing luggage.  These include your length of stay, how you will be travelling, and versatility.

Depending on your length of stay, will determine how large (or small) your luggage needs to be.   You will also need to be mindful of whether you are travelling by plane, bus, or train.  Each type of transport will have a varying amount of space available for you to store you bags.  Remember to keep in mind over head space in planes and buses.  No one likes the person who jams their luggage into someone else’s space.

2 wheeled luggage– the two wheeled bags are super handy when traveling to destinations which have paved paths.  Taking the weight off your arms and back, allowing you to move more freely.

4 wheeled luggage– an addition of two extra wheels allows you to pack a little more into your bag (the rolled luggage can become sluggish when packed too bulky).  It also makes it easy to travel longer distances with your bag.

Wheeled backpack – The best of both worlds!  A mix between the wheeled luggage and backpack.  If you want to have the option of either carrying the backpack or rolling it, this is the bag for you.

Backpack– Having the versatility of being able to use both your hands when travelling is a huge appeal to many travellers.

Carry On–  If possible, choose to use carry on luggage!  It saves you time at the airport and check in fees, your luggage won’t get lost, and everything will be with you at all time… and you won’t have to wait for it at the baggage claim area!

These luggage explanations will help you decide which bag to take on your next trip.  Now you just need to decide when and where you want to go!
