Cruising holidays are now more popular than ever, but sometimes space and comfort in you cabin can be limited.

Here are my top tips for increasing your comfort in your cabin during your cruise holiday :

Unpack your suitcase, and use the under bed storage for the empty case, this will ensure that you will not be taking up valuable floor space for your luggage.
Packing cubes are not only great for your suitcase, but also great as draw and storage dividers if you are sharing a cabin to keep your items separate.
Ensure that you pack the correct travel adapter for your cruise line. Sailing in Australian waters does not mean that the cruise line uses Australian sockets – check with your Personal Travel Manager before you leave.
Most of the wall space in your cabin is magnetic – make use of the wall space where you can.
Magnetic Hooks are great to use on the walls of your cruise cabin.
organiser is a lightweight item to pack, and great for wall storage using magnetic hooks. This will get items off the small desk space in the cabin, and still handy to use.
The use of magnetic bulldog clips is ideal for use with your daily cruise news, and shore excursion tickets etc.
Bathrooms can be extremely limited on space. If you are able to use toiletry bags that have hooks they can be hung on the back of the bathroom door, keeping all of your items within easy reach.
Drying items such as bathers can be difficult in a small space, but using the magnetic space in the room makes this easier with the small lightweight clothes lines that are available. These can easily be hung using the magnetic hooks anywhere is the cabin, or even on your balcony. (Please ensure that you do not leave items on your balcony when you are not in your cabin.)

These are just a few of the tips that I have picked up over the years of personal cruising and I hope that you can benefit from a few of them.
