I think I have always been a traveller. From a very young age the ritual of travelling north exploring various parts of Australia or the beachside summers are memories I fondly remember.
The biggest influence and I am guessing the point at which my passion for travel began was whilst at primary school we went “Around the World in 80 Days” sampling language, culture, history and cuisine from each destination. We had a passport that was stamped as our journey progress.
It has certainly had a lasting impact and made me aware that there was a “BIG” wide world out there waiting to be explored.
Explore I have , explore I did… I am yet to revisit all the countries explored on my “Around the World in 80 Days” journey. I will get there one day.
I enjoy nothing more than packing my bag and heading out the door ready for a new experience, new challenge and even better new memories.
