About me

I started my travel career on the Gold Coast when I was 20. I then moved to Sydney & worked at Traveland at David Jones. I then travelled for 3 years overland from Sydney to London spending six months in India & Kashmir, a month in Afghanistan, six months in Israel, a month in Lebanon and then through Turkey and Europe to London. I then spent 2 years in London/Europe and Morocco.I married my American husband in Nashville, Tennessee and spent 8 years working in travel in Nashville. I worked in several Travel Agencies specialising in International Travel ‚ South America/Mexico/Caribbean/Europe & specialising in Cruising also. After returning to Australia in 1989 I have worked in several agencies and in November 2009 I joined TravelManagers – the best thing I ever did. This is because as a Personal Travel Manager, I look after my own clients travel arrangements. I consult with you over the telephone/emails/meet for coffee or lunch, depending on your time limits. I will organise cruises/flights/hotels/tour packages/car leasing or hiring/travel insurance. I specialise in Cruising – I am a Master Accredited Cruise Specialist with ICCA (International Cruise Council of Australia). Cruising is my passion and I have cruised on many – Arcadia/ Dawn Princess/ Costa Pacifica/ Celebrity Galaxy/P&O Pacific Star/Vision of the Seas – Royal Caribbean Cruises/RV Orient Pandaw and others.If I haven’t cruised on a cruise line, I have usually had a full day inspection, including Crystal Cruises/Silversea/Regent Seven Seas/Holland America.

Where I've Travelled

There are so many incredible places in the world to experience. I do have my favourites – Spain, the first time was when I first left Australia and travelled overland to Europe. Spain was very different in Franco’s time in 1972 – so returning a few years ago, I found the people, culture, food and love of life intoxicating – along with the Sangria. This year I spent a month cruising from Barcelona all the way up to Bilbao. One of the highlights was Santiago de Compostella and I now want to ‘Walk the El Camino’.
