About me

My travel career started as soon as I left high school.  I was given the opportunity to do work experience in a retail travel agency in Fremantle whilst I was studying Travel & Tourism… Little did I know back then that what would start as work experience would lead to the following 12 years of my career working for the same agency! I started as a Junior Consultant, became a Senior and then was given the opportunity to be the Office Manager for a number of years.  It was during this time also that I met my  husband. We crossed paths when he came into the office wanting to book his holiday Round the World. We both had a love of travel, fun and adventure. Fast forward a few years and we still have the same love of travel and now get to experience it with our two children.

Wanting to broaden my experience within the industry I decided it was time to ‘jump the fence’ so to speak and see what the Corporate world was all about. It was fast paced, I learnt a lot and enjoyed it although I missed the face to face interaction with my clients.  My goal has always been to have my own business and now with the support of Travel Managers I now get to experience being my own boss doing what I’m still so passionate about and that is talking travel!

With over 20 years experience in both leisure and corporate travel I have been fortunate to have travelled to some pretty amazing places and have had some incredible experiences along the way. From having breakfast with hippos on an African Safari, travelling First Class through the Rocky Mountains, skiing in Japan, cruising the Mediterranean, 4WD’ing the sand dunes in Dubai and most recently landing on the Tasman Glacier and throwing snowballs with my kids, just to name a few.

Having children of my own, I know and understand what’s important when planning a family holiday. The world is big and wide and I was determined to get my children travelling early…with the hope that they loved it just as much as I did…. Needless to say our first family holiday was a 7 ½ week trip to Europe when my daughter was only 15 months old!
