Rent a car and make your way up interstate 55 from New Orleans, through Jackson Mississippi with a side stop to Clarksdale, home of the Delta Blues.
In Memphis, visit the Peabody Hotel to see the famous ducks make their way from the hotel lobby to the roof top. Before making your way to Beale St for a well deserved beer. Rock n roll, jazz, blues, R&B and gospel can heard drifting from all the bars and cafes. Before you leave Memphis, be sure to visit Gracelands, the home of Elvis and Sun Studios the birthplace of Rock n Roll.
Head north to Nashville to the home of country music. Shows are held at the Grand Ole Oprey and the stroll down Broadway where there are a number of bars and just around the corner famous Ryman Alley.
