My love of travel began in my twenties when I first set off on the Big Adventure. Whilst in Europe I was fortunate enough to have to opportunity to work in Sweden, which gave me a unique understanding of this wonderful country and culture. It gave me a base to discover many of the famous (and not so famous) cities and towns in Europe. When I returned to the real world in 2000, I began my formal career in travel with one of the major travel retailers. During my time with them I received many accolades including customer service awards and quickly progressed from being a consultant to becoming a manager In 2009 I became pregnant and after giving birth to my beautiful daughter in 2010 I decided that there had to be a better way to help my clients travel to their dream destinations and at the same time achieve a better work/life balance for myself. Now I find that I am working more unpredictable hours – those that suit my clients‚ needs rather than just working the regular 9-5.
I am involved in the Dog World – both as an exhibitor of my dogs and also being a member on several committees. I enjoy organising travel to many of the worldwide famous shows. I have escorted tours to WDS in Helsinki and Milan. This was a fantastic experience and the clients that travelled with me enjoyed their holiday enormously
I have travelled extensively though-out the UK ,Ireland France , Italy , Gemany, Czech Republic , Sweden , Denmark , Finland , Russia ,Belgium , Netherlands , to many European destinations to mention
I have also travelled to Singapore, Thailand , Malaysia , Cambodia , China and Indonesia.
I was married in Fiji and have also travelled to the Cook Islands
Some of my other travel destinations are :
America , Canada , The Arctic and the Antarctic , Chile , Argentina and Peru
I Love to travel and always spend time out checking hotels etc for my clients
Vietnam and Cambodia are some of my favourite places
I LOVE small ship/ expedition cruises where you can really get away from the ” sites” and meet and interact with the local population.
One of my best memories is visiting a small town in Greenland that is only accessible by sea, they only see 3 ships per year, our welcome was overwhelming.
I pride myself on making every booking a memorable experience for my clients and this was one of the reasons that i was nominated for AFTA travel agent of the year in 2013. when you book with me , you will always be provided with a detailed itinerary with additional information about your destination , directions , places to shop and eat etc.
