I personally design every element of every group tour. I love to meticulously design experiences that are truly unique, memorable and life-changing and enriching. Having been a travel advisor for such a long period of time and crafting and escorting my own group tours for nearly 10 years I ensure that you are in the hands of respected and knowledgeable host and travel agent.
My joy is seeing people have fun, eating good food, making new friends. and exploring a different culture. To relax rejuvenate and soak in the beauty of local people, places and things. Each tour I design comes with comfort, natural beauty, friendship, uniqueness, and of course giving back to the places we travel to by visiting schools, community centers, charity organisations, women’s groups, restaurants providing training in hospitality so as to engage and educate.
Some questions I am often asked…
What standard of accommodation is used? – Unique, boutique, well located and affordable. It gives me the ultimate joy to handpick the properties we use on our trips. I really love to make the most of our accommodation experience to fit with the journey.
Is travel insurance mandatory? -Yes it is and I can assist you with this, quite often I can obtain discounted rates for group bookings. If you choose otherwise your insurance details must be provided.
What if I have special dietary requirements? Not a problem at all. I will do all possible on flights and land to take care of your needs, however I do ask that you take responsibility for yourself whilst on tour.
How many travellers do you take on each journey? This depends on the destination of travel, I need to take all aspects into our small group tours ie in Morocco I choose to stay in Riads because in our whole world Riads are only found in Morocco they are privately owned by families and local people of the place, these have limited rooms and I will not choose to stay in a hotel in this part of the world, In India I choose Havali’s old English hunting lodges or that which once was a palace, every destination has the personal tailored feel of that extra touch, however usually between 10 and 18 people so that we have a smaller vehicle that can get us through the small lanes or backstreets but still allow us comfort and space on the vehicle without those hour long bathroom breaks which waste a lot of time.
Do you cater for solo travelers? Yes if you prefer to share with another person of the same sex I will assist with finding you a companion (however this is not always possible). If you prefer your own room occupancy a single supplement is available and prices always extremely reasonable.
Can you work with private groups? Absolutely if you have a group of friends, family, colleagues, special interest groups or holidays for a special milestone or celebration. I will work with you to make sure that your journey will be the most enjoyable ever experienced.
