About me

Travel has always been a passion of mine. In 2001 I decided to turn my passion into a career, and began working in the travel industry as a retail travel agent. I spent 10 years with a small agency before deciding it was time to go out on my own, and I joined TravelManagers in September 2010. As a Personal Travel Manager I able to focus on the destinations that inspire me and still ignite my passion for travel.

I have run small conferences all over the world, Bali, India, Cuba, Italy, London and until a few years ago i travelled to India frequently, seeing much of the country.

i love New Zealand, so close but so many just leave it alone and travel further afield.

I have been travelling regularly to Japan since 2019.   I have taken a number of small groups there, in 2019, in November 2024 and in November 2025. The tour in 2025 started in Kyushu- going to the sumo was on my bucket list and we then visited other parts of the island- then up to Hiroshima and area around the city including a fabulous new art museum Shimose, then over to Shikoku island and flying home from Osaka. I have been travelling up north- Sado island, Sendai and Aomori and am going back soon to check out the central area of Japan. Whilst Tokyo has fabulous museums, shrines and temples as does Kyoto, there is so much more to do, see and experience when you leave the big cities. The food is fabulous everywhere.
