I have been passionate about travel since childhood. In fact, my first experience of long distance travel was driving across the Nullarbor Plain in the family station-wagon. This was definitely an endurance test and made me appreciate the size of Australia and the uniqueness of our landscape.
Before working as a travel agent, I spent many years as a marketing academic and consultant living in London, New York and Sydney before moving back to Adelaide to raise a family. Having a family only strengthened my passion for seeing the world. In 2011, we spent 4 months in Europe, the UK and Scandinavia exploring each country and visiting countless museums.
I have travelled to many parts of the world and my favourite, France, is a perennial destination. Countries I have also travelled to include Chile, USA, Ireland, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Iran, Pakistan, India, Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vanuatu, Borneo, Singapore, Turkey, Canada, the Caribbean and all states and territories in Australia.
The best thing about being a travel agent is that I get to talk travel every day!! I also get to plan beautiful holidays for my clients. I take pride in building unique and personalised itineraries both domestically and internationally. I believe in a commitment to customer service, understanding the client’s budget and ensuring the delivery of value for money.
Not everyone needs a travel agent to book a holiday. Indeed, many people prefer to organise their holidays themselves. What I can offer my clients is the experience and knowledge of extensive travel as well as the ability to book everything through reputable services. Holidays are expensive and time consuming to organise. A travel agent will save you time and money as well as provide you with the assurance that your holiday will be well organised and stress-free.
