“"I had planned a five month solo trip around the world. I wanted to visit North America, Alaska, Canada, South America, UK, Europe and India. It was important for me to find a travel agent who had the same passion that I had about travel. An agent that could work alongside me and had the experience and ability to incorporate my own travel ideas and independent itinerary with a combination of top quality tours. This was a huge trip and involved over 60 separate flights, as well as numerous accommodation arrangements in many separate countries and cities. I was extremely lucky in that I had Erryn as my travel manager. Erryn’s ability to plan and manage such a complex trip of this size was outstanding. She displayed a knowledge of all the different countries that was exceptional. It made a huge difference to have on board a travel agent who, for example, knew that immigration at Miami International Airport was particularly slow and so more time was needed for the stopover time between flights. When you have four flights in one day, this information was vital. I had wanted to experience some quite physically challenging experiences and Erryn was able to advise me on the level of fitness required for the programs offered by the various tour operators. She makes it her business to follow up on her clients after their trips, so she can learn more about what each trip actually involved and whether the quality/experience was still matching the experiences of previous clients. E.g. what is a “moderate level of fitness” for a particular tour? This level of attention to detail meant that I was always able to complete the particular activities of each tour, whether that was a four hour hike up a mountain or walking at altitude for two days. I was also pleased that Erryn was not afraid to “tell it like it is” and so even if I became enamoured of the “sell” of a various tour that appeared in a brochure, Erryn had the taken the time to understand my expectations so she knew exactly what I wanted from my trip and then she was able to “translate” what was actually being offered by the tour company and help me decide whether the trip offered was actually for me. This meant that I was always aware of what I was getting in my travel arrangements and I was never disappointed. At the end of five months travelling, and in spite of so many flights, I never missed one flight or had any dramas whatsoever with my travel arrangements. Erryn was able to keep me abreast of everything that was happening, sending documents e.g. visas /air tickets as they arrived on her desk. This was no easy task because several documents could not be issued till I had been travelling for several months, e.g. Bhutanese visa and air tickets from Delhi to Paro ( Bhutan capital) so to know that my travel agent was constantly monitoring my movement through the travel itinerary on a daily basis was so reassuring. I have the highest regard for Erryn’s travel management abilities as I have travelled extensively. She is passionate about travel and has the ability to manage and monitor a host of variables involved insetting up a complex travel itinerary. I would not use anyone else."”
