She gave us suggestions on where was best to go at the time of year we were going and in the area we wanted. Jane always manages to find the right hotel for me, often small boutique hotels not too many guests, in great locations with markets and restaurants in walking distance. The 'one on one' personal tour guides Jane has arranged in Athens, Moscow and Kyoto have been wonderful in their knowledge of the history of the cities and sights. In Moscow I looked out of my hotel window to see the Kremlin across the river, walked to St Basils and Red Square. My request to see Geiko in the Gion in Kyoto became a reality with our Guide Masayo taking us to many small alleys in the district until several appeared on their way to 'work'. Jane has always been easy to talk to, often re-arranging dates or times to meet my time frames. No request has ever been a bother. All our flights, activities and transfers went as smoothly as possible and Jo and I had a great time!The snorkelling in Silfra was amazing. Definitely not for the faint hearted getting into very tight dry suits in the freezing cold! The water was so clear and it was a great experience. The tour guides we had were all very good. I would recommend this operator - we got there safely and saw at least 3 other professional tour buses and a car that had run off the side of the road in the icy conditions.The structure of the Northern Lights Exploration Tour was excellent. There was a good variation of different sights and activities to suit most people on the tour. The hotels we stayed at and the meals there were all very good. The crew were so helpful and obliging and even decorated our cabin with birthday decorations and a lovely birthday card for both our birthdays as well as a birthday cake with candle at the restaurant in the evening. Such a lovely gesture. Our hotel in Osaka, Rhiga Royal Hotel, was really lovely and the Hilton Hotel in Tokyo, Shinjuku-Ku, was a delight with a couple of beautiful restaurants. We enjoyed a lovely Bento Box lunch which was exceptional. Attention to detail was second to none. Our return flights with Singapore Airlines went without a hitch and Jane organised drivers for all our transfers.
