A Travel Planning fee of $295 – $400 is applicable for the independent research and time required to design your personalised/tailored travel itinerary, and includes the management of your travel from start to arriving home. The fee I charge each client is based on the length and complexity of the travel booking, and I will quote you a price as soon as we have chatted about your proposed travel. Once we have had this initial, informal chat, we will schedule a consultation.  My fee is payable before this consultation.  If you decide not to proceed with your booking and/or your travel arrangements are canceled for any reason, this payment/fee is non-refundable.

As with many professions, I operate in a service-fee environment. The fees outlined below are a guide only. Please note that fees are not limited to the below. Speak with me regarding all fees applicable to your specific travel arrangements. These fees do not include GST or supplier-imposed fees. If you decide not to proceed with your booking and/or your travel arrangements are canceled for any reason, this payment/fee is non-refundable.

I do not provide a service to simply book airfares. If you feel you cannot book these yourself and require my services you will be charged my maximum Travel Planning Fee of $295 plus the applicable maximum booking fee (see below). These fees will be non refundable and will be invoiced before any booking is made.

The Travel Planning Fee includes:
  1. A 40 minute consultation with you. This can be done either in person (depending on where you are), virtually via video call, or by email with and exchange of information between the two of us.
  2. I would prepare an initial itinerary within your budget. That fulfils your wish list for this trip.
  3. We’d work back and forth to ensure that the itinerary meets your (maximum 2hrs, after that a charge of $80 per hour applies.)
  4. Once the itinerary is perfect I would act on your instruction to book flights, accommodation, transfers, land travel and attractions/experiences.
  5. I will provide advice on activities and attractions in the local area.
  6. I will manage your travel once you are on your way, with you having access to me 24/7 until your safe return home.

The following Service fees are subject to change without notice and are charged for all bookings.

Service fees per person:

  • International Air booking: $50 – $95pp

  • International Air changes before the ticket is issued: $20pp

  • International Air changes after ticket is issued: $35 – $50 per change, per person

  • Surcharge for booking low cost airlines $100 per person, per sector.
  • Domestic Air booking: $35 – $50pp

  • Domestic tickets for flights originating in and flying within countries other than Australia: $45 – $55pp

  • Domestic Air changes before the ticket is issued: $20pp

  • Domestic Air changes after ticket is issued: $35 – $50pp

  • Trans-Tasman Air Booking: $55 – $75pp

  • Refund Processing: $70 – $100pp

  • Booking Cancellation: Commission & booking fees charged are non-refundable.

  • Frequent Flyer Award Redemptions International: $80 – $150pp

  • Frequent Flyer Award Redemptions Domestic: $35 – $50pp

  • Visa Processing fee: $40 – $50pp

  • Overseas originating travel: $80 – $150pp

  • Amendment fees: $35 – $50pp, per change

  • Group Booking surcharge $50 pp
