Professional Services Fees

Fee Guideline

As with many professions, TravelManagers operates in a service fee environment. These fees do not include GST or supplier-imposed fees. The below fees do not include the airlines & wholesalers’ cancellation or change fee. Fees will apply whether changes or cancellations have been voluntary or involuntary.

Travel Management Fee

A Travel Management fee covers the engagement of services inclusive of ongoing management and the supervision of your travel arrangements. The fee initiates your initial planning, booking progression, collation, delivery of travel documentation and 24/7 availability (on the basis of emergency only).

  • Travel Management Fee: $150 per person, capped at $500 (*Per family traveling the same itinerary, 6 people max)
  • Itinerary Planning Fee (redeemable on final payment): From $250 per person (multiple destination only)

This fee is payable at the time of progression (from both parties) into the planning service phase, post your initial consultation and is commensurate with my time, expertise, knowledge, and personalised professional service.

In the unlikely event you decide not to proceed with your booking and/or your travel arrangements are cancelled for any reason, this payment/fee is non-refundable.

Professional Service Fees

Professional Service fees encumber specialty services within your planned itinerary, this includes access to specialised travel agent products and fares offering you unparalleled value for money and confidence in price.

  • Package Booking, Air & Land Components (Subject to complexity): From $150 per booking
  • Land Only Booking (Subject to duration and complexity): From $40 per person
  • Rail Bookings, Event Tickets/Passes & Day tours: From $55 per person
  • Cruise Booking Management: $50 per cabin
  • Visa Processing Fee: $80 per visa, per passport
  • Corporate Management Fee: Please enquire (negotiated upon confirmation of company needs)

Airfare Booking Fees

  • International Air Booking (subject to complexity): From $120 per ticket (Includes ticketing fee)
  • Domestic Air Booking: $55 per ticket – $220 for 4 or more passengers (Includes ticketing fee)
  • Trans-Tasman Air Booking: $110 per ticket – $380 for 4 or more passengers (Includes ticketing fee)
  • Domestic Air Booking (Internal other countries): $65 per ticket (Includes ticketing fee)
  • One Way International Air – (Multiple Flights & subject to complexity): From $150 per ticket
  • Round-the-world Airfare (subject to complexity): From $200 per ticket
  • Overseas Originating Air Travel: $150 per ticket
  • Frequent Flyer Redemption Booking International (subject to complexity): From $150 per ticket
  • Frequent Flyer Redemption Booking Domestic: $85 per ticket

Change & Cancelation Fees

Should a circumstance arise requiring adjustment to your exisiting booking, it is crucial that changes are managed with a degree of time sensitivity and care to ensure a desirable outcome. Change fees apply to manage variability and alterations to your confirmed booking.

Airfare

  • International Air changes before the ticket is issued: No fee
  • International Air changes after the ticket/s are issued: $80 per ticket, plus the Airline fees
  • Domestic changes before the ticket is issued: No fee
  • Domestic changes after the ticket/s are issued: $50 per ticket, plus the Airline fees
  • Frequent Flyer Air Changes: $80 per ticket for Domestic & International, plus the Airline fees

Package, Land & Cruise Arrangements

  • Amendment/change fee after deposit has been paid (Voluntary): $55 per change/cabin, plus supplier fees
  • Amendment/change fee after deposit has been paid (Involuntary): $45 per change/cabin, plus supplier fees

Cancellation Fees

  • Booking Cancellation (Any or all aspects of your travel plans): $55 per hour, to process cancellation of bookings (Min 1 hour)
  • Refund Processing: $55 per hour. (Min 1 hour)
  • Insurance Cancellation Fess: $55 for Domestic $80 for International

The Travel Management Fees listed above will be applied with discretion and in consideration of each client’s travel needs. These fees are charged to cover time, research and support for the duration of your itinerary planning through to travel. All deposits, commissions and fees are non-refundable. Prices are per person unless stated otherwise. These amounts above are in addition to supplier charges.
