Fee Guideline

As with many professions, TravelManagers operates in a service fee environment.
My fees are commeserate with my knowledge and experience and are a fee for both my time and expertise. You can be guaranteed that from the time you contact me, I am there to look after you, and help you with your travel. As you do, I value my time and therefore I will be charging services to quote on your itinerary (redeemable when booking), to book your travel, and to make changes to your itinerary, once everything is finalised.

Travel Management and Planning Fee

A Travel Management and planning fee of $150-$250pp (Itinerary dependant) covers the ongoing management and supervision of your entire travel arrangements, from your initial consultation, booking progression, collation, and delivery of travel documents. The fee is commensurate with my time, expertise, knowledge, and personalised professional service and covers the independent research and time required to design your personalised/tailored travel itinerary.
This is payable at time of your initial consultation.
If you decide not to proceed with your booking and/or your travel arrangements are cancelled for any reason, this payment/fee is non-refundable.

Specific Fees

Specific fees for specific travel needs are outlined below and are a guide only.  Please feel free to contact me regarding all fees relevant to your specific travel arrangements.

These fees do not include GST or supplier-imposed fees.

Service Fee (per person)

  • International Air booking: $150
  • International Air changes before the ticket is issued: nil
  • International Air changes after ticket is issued: $50
  • Domestic Air booking: $50
  • Domestic tickets in other countries: $55
  • Domestic Air changes before the ticket is issued: nil
  • Domestic Air changes after ticket is issued: $35 – $50
  • Trans-Tasman Air Booking (New Zealand): $75
  • Refund Processing: $50
  • Booking Cancellation: Commission & booking fees charged are non-refundable.
  • Itinerary planner – redeemable on final payment: $150 – $250 (Itinerary dependant)
  • Amendment fees: $35 – $50 per change

(The above service fees are in addition to those charged by airlines and suppliers. All necessary airline and supplier charges will be advised at the time of booking. Additional fees will also apply to services booked where supplier does not pay travel agent commissions. These services can include, but are not limited to, train, tours, theatre tickets, experiences. Any fees will be advised prior to booking and noted in any quotes. Any fees from airlines & suppliers including amendment fees, cancellation fees or fare increases are additional to the above. Booking fees are non refundable and commission paid by third party suppliers will also be retained and not refunded as fair remuneration for the work done in organising your travel arrangements. Please understand the process involved in changing and amending your booking takes considerable time, labour, and resources. It is for this reason a Travel Management fee of $…has been applied for the continued processing and administration of your travel arrangements.
