This one is for the ladies..

Starting a business from scratch has presented its set of challenges, but it has also allowed me to explore how I want to grow my business and the path I want it to take. At this stage of my life, I find myself drawn to booking family holidays and relish the opportunity to help create cherished family memories. Another niche I’ve discovered and hope to expand upon is booking group trips for women. The more I think about organizing this type of travel experience for women, the more excited I become. Providing a space for women to take a moment for themselves, celebrate friendships, both new and old, and pursue long-held dreams is something I find truly exhilarating.

The size and shape of the group aren’t my focus, nor is the destination or motivation. It could be a small group of old school girlfriends exploring the Barossa Valley for the perfect wine on a long weekend, or new moms enjoying a night away from the chaos in Melbourne. It might also be a group of garden-loving ladies touring the fields of Holland in search of flowering tulips or friends leaving their husbands at home to experience the winter chill at the Christmas markets in Europe. Whether big or small, near or far, I genuinely love the idea of women coming together to create memories and realize their own dreams.

Currently, I’m organizing a trip for a group of women who all enjoy patchwork and craft. While I speak generally, I feel these women have likely spent a good portion of their lives caring for and nurturing those around them, ensuring others’ needs are met before their own, and taking on the multiple roles that being a woman involves. It’s a privilege to be a part of these ladies taking the time to do something for themselves, just for themselves. I envision them spending the weekend laughing over shared experiences and bonding over shared interests. As the saying goes, “You can’t pour from an empty cup,” and I hope that by the end of the weekend, their cups are filled to the brim!

Women of all ages and stages face challenges and changes. From finishing high school and realizing the vastness of the world, to endlessly working to find balance and meeting societal expectations, to navigating the trenches of motherhood, and eventually adjusting to life as an empty nester, or even transitioning from a traveling duo to a solo traveller, I would love to be there for all those moments. I would advise those young girls on the safest and most savvy ways to backpack through Europe. I would encourage young entrepreneurs to take the leap and book the trip. I would urge young mothers to give themselves a break and take that night away, knowing they might miss their kids the moment they leave. I’ve seen the quiet hallways of empty houses, but I’ve also witnessed the connections formed between couples who now have the freedom and time to embark on that bucket list adventure. And for those ladies who find themselves traveling solo, whether by choice or circumstance, I would ensure they have the comfort and confidence to find the perfect holiday for them.

As I continue on this journey of curating travel experiences for women, I am reminded of the power of connection, self-discovery, and the joy of exploring new horizons. Whether it’s a group of lifelong friends embarking on a weekend getaway or a solo traveler venturing into the unknown, each journey holds the promise of growth, laughter, and unforgettable memories. I would love to be a part of bringing these moments to life.

So here’s to celebrating the incredible strength, resilience, and spirit of women everywhere. May we continue to carve out moments for ourselves, chase our dreams and support one another every step of the way. Together, let’s embark on adventures that feed our souls and remind us of the boundless possibilities that await.

Until next time, happy travels!
