Known for its cosmopolitan scene, London isn’t short on options when it comes to wine bars and pubs. Couple that with an amazing view, and you’ve got yourself a great night out. Here our personal travel managers share some of their favourite rooftop bars to get you dreaming of your next London adventure.

    Sushisamba

Located on the 38th and 39th floors at 110 Bishopsgate in East London, Sushisamba has fast been established as one of London’s trendiest bars. Delivering a unique mix of Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian cuisine, Sushisamba boasts the highest outdoor dining terrace in Europe, with 360-degree views across the city.

    Radio Rooftop Bar

Refined and sophisticated, Radio Rooftop Bar is on the 10th floor of the ME hotel on the Strand near Somerset House. It’s the only rooftop bar in the Strand and Aldwych area to be open throughout the day until 2am between Thursdays and Saturdays.

With a menu that showcases Spanish-infused tapas with a contemporary twist, Radio Rooftop’s views span the city’s most popular landmarks including Tower Bridge, St. Paul’s Cathedral, the London Eye and the theatre district of Covent Garden.

    Aqua Spirit

Just a hop, skip and a jump from London’s famous retail mecca at Oxford Circus, this rooftop alfresco bar is chic yet relaxed. Offering an extensive view of Regent Street all the way across London to the south, the menu features both Japanese and Spanish cuisines.

Aqua is an ideal bar for those who want to wind down after a hard day’s shopping and sightseeing.

    Frank’s Café

A newcomer to the rooftop scene, Frank’s Café opened in May 2015 and is a self-proclaimed summer-only bar, closed again until May 2016. The flagship architectural commission of Bold Tendencies, Frank’s is on the 10th floor of the Peckham Multi-Storey Car Park in South London.

Gaze back towards the Gherkin, London Eye and the Shard whilst sipping on an Americano cocktail.

    Boundary Rooftop

Hailed for being the “smartest rooftop bar in East London”, Boundary Rooftop offers impressive panoramic views of London. Boundary has you covered all year round with blankets, heaters and even a weatherproof pergola to keep you warm and comfortable regardless of the weather. Choose from light snacks to chargrilled steaks from the all-day menu, and indulge in a hot cocktail around the open-pit fireplace.

In addition to its spectacular views of East London, Boundary Rooftop now features a heated orangery, filled with a variety of Citrus trees, which provides another cosy space for rooftop drinking.
