    Disembark Diamond Princess in Yokohama this morning and transfer by coach to Tokyo’s domestic airport for your included flight to Osaka. On arrival, meet your local representative and transfer to your hotel to begin the fully escorted Experience Japan land tour. This evening, enjoy a welcome dinner and begin soaking in the energy of Osaka.

    Start with a visit to the iconic Osaka Castle, followed by a scenic Yogodawa River cruise. After lunch, travel to Nara to see the Todaiji Temple, home to Japan’s largest bronze Buddha, and stroll through Isui-en Garden before returning to Osaka for the night.

    Kyoto: Bamboo Forest & Golden Pavilion

    Journey to Kyoto, Japan’s cultural heart. Stroll across the Togetsukyo Bridge, wander through the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, and explore the famed Ryoanji Temple and glittering Kinkakuji (Golden Pavilion). Enjoy free time this afternoon before dinner.

    Snow Monkeys & Temples

    Travel by bullet train and express train into the Japanese Alps to Nagano. Stop in Yudanaka to search for the famous snow monkeys in their natural hot spring habitat. Visit historic Zenko-ji Temple, then continue to Matsumoto for your overnight stay. (Note: Your main luggage is transferred separately and arrives the next day — please pack an overnight bag.)

    Castles, Miso & Sake in Matsumoto

    Day 16 – Mount Fuji & Lake Ashi

    Travel to the Fuji Five Lakes region and ascend to Mount Fuji’s 5th Station (weather permitting). Cruise across Lake Ashi, then ride the Komagatake Ropeway for panoramic views. Tonight, stay in Mishima, where you may wish to enjoy the onsen facilities at your hotel.
