    This 7day package covers all our basic sights & activities but some incredible highlights that will spoil your tastebuds from our Clifftop Dinner on your first night which provides you with eagle eye view of the tiny beaches and the magnificent spread of ocean stretching to the far horizon, to our Food & Wine Experience, degustation style at Two Chimneys Winery, and not to forget our Progressive Dinner which you will enjoy a 3 course meal at 3 different homes on the island.

    Day 1

    Day 1 - 30 Sept

    Depart Brisbane Qantas Flight 9.30am Arrives Norfolk Island 12.40pm
    Includes 23kg checked baggage & 7kg carry on per person.
    On Arrival, airport transfer to your accommodation.

    Check in – 7 Nights stay at Governor’s Lodge in a 1 Bedroom Cabin with Balcony includes breakfast daily.

    This evening, enjoy dinner @ Baunti Fish Fry, includes return transfers.

    You will have an eagle-eyed view of the tiny crescent-shaped beach and the magnificent spread of ocean stretching to the far horizon. The beautifully set tables will delight you – it’s the most glamorous picnic you will ever attend! Scrumptiously fresh, local fish is prepared the local way and accompanied with a range of seasonal
    island dishes including those passed down from Polynesian fore-mothers. This extends even to dessert! The feast kicks off with entertainment, by a local singer and Tahitian-style dancers. The venue is subject to change if the weather becomes inclement.

    Day 2

    Day 2 - 1 Oct Orientation Package & Two Chimney's Winery, Food & Wine Experience, Degustation Style

    Government, our laws & lifestyle. Enjoy views from scenic spots on this full commentary conducted tour. Rest for a delicious morning or afternoon tea in the garden of an historic island home built by Fletcher Quintal – descendant of ‘Bounty’
    mutineers Fletcher Christian & Matthew Quintal.

    Day 3

    Day 3 - 2 Oct History in the Making & World Heritage History Tour, and Progressive Dinner

    Tour departs Governor’s Lodge by coach at 9.00am at returns at 11.30am.
    Tour Itinerary:
    Visit convict work sites in historic Kingston and a small working museum set in the grounds of an island home. The tour focuses on demonstrations of hands-on activities such as shingle and rope making and a museum collection, which includes
    many unique artefacts. Learn of the wonderful moments of enterprise and ingenuity that have allowed today’s settlers to make Norfolk Island their home.

    Lunch provided by Governor’s Lodge – An assortment of sandwiches, cakes, slices, scones or biscuits includes choice of one cold non-alcoholic drink.
    Tour starts at 1.00pm and finishes at 2.30pm. Meet in Kingston near the large rock just after the cattle grid.
    Tour Itinerary:
    The World Heritage Listed Kingston and Arthur’s Vale Historic Area (KAVHA) on Norfolk Island holds many historical treasures from Australia’s past colonial and penal history. It also holds Australia’s only connection to Polynesia along with a
    present day unique community full of its melded old English and Polynesian roots.
    Enjoy a short walk and immersion in the past and be surprised how close the present-day community is to the 230 year old Bounty/Pitcairn story. All of this is encapsulated in the KAVHA precinct.
    Please note this tour involves walking and you may be required to stand for periods of time.

    Tour Itinerary:
    Enjoy a 3 course meal progressing to different Norfolk Island family homes. A fun night and a great way of meeting the local people and sampling some of the island dishes.

    Day 4

    Day 4 - 3 Oct Private Tour, Margaret Christians Bird Finder & Glass Bottom Boat, 2 Course Dinner at Governor's Lodge

    Visiting easy access forest glades, private property and stunning coastal areas.
    Where 25 rare and endemic bird species can be found in the island’s subtropical rainforest. Sensational photographic opportunities.
    Tour Itinerary:
    Christian’s Glass Bottom boat will take you on cruise within the lagoon of Emily and
    Slaughter Bays. Norfolk Island has the second southernmost coral reef in the world
    and attracts a diversity of marine life. You will view a wide variety of species of colourful fish and beautiful coral as you cruise the crystal-clear waters of the lagoon.

    Day 5

    Day 5 -4 Oct Day at Leisure, High Tea, The Trial of the Fifteen & 2 Course dinner

    Tour begins every Wednesday at 4.45pm at the Ferny Lane Theatre.
    Tour Itinerary:
    You are an eyewitness to a courtroom drama as fifteen extraordinary characters step on stage to expose Norfolk’s colourful and at times turbulent past. The testimony of those on trial reveals the story of Norfolk Island – Polynesian visitation,
    European discovery, convict misery and the arrival of the Pitcairn Islanders. This highly successful play has been running for over ten years to more than 35,000 visitors. After the show enjoy a chat with the actors.

    Day 6

    Day 6 - 5 Oct Breakfast Bushwalk, Island Adventure & Afternoon Refreshments , Dinner at Governor's Lodge

    Tour departs 7:15am. Duration: 3 hours, includes return transfers.
    Your walk will take you through diverse habitats from rainforest to clifftops, between enormous pines and white-woods and surrounded by seabirds. While the topography is hilly, the pace is relaxed and guides cater to a range of fitness levels.
    Your efforts will be richly rewarded by a delicious barbecue breakfast with all the trimmings, which awaits. Learn about Norfolk Island’s flora and fauna and see some of the 40 endemic species of plants and birds. For those that just want to join for
    breakfast come along! You can relax and meet up with the walking group for breakfast.

    Tour Itinerary:
    Climb aboard an 18 seater 4×4 bus for a pioneering adventure “Off the beaten track”. This 4WD tour takes you through Norfolk’s National Park. Travel through a private paddock past an old convict well on your way to visit the Watermill Dam.
    Stop off at a Norfolk Island Pine family home for stunning views at the edge of a cliff. Observe first-hand the many different species of the island’s sea birds including several Mutton Birds’ nest as well as view a stump of a Hollow Norfolk Island pine
    complete with the knots still on it. Travel along the cliff edge and look down onto a lush valley full of seabirds nesting in the pines. Make your way out to Simons Water Reserve where you will meander your way through trees and past cattle to the cliff
    edge to see the sights of Cascade Bay and across to Elephant Rock and the blow hole. Morning tea is included along the way at an Island Home. This tour is suitable for all ages and is a photographer’s delight.

    Take the opportunity to learn some of this unique language brought to Norfolk Island by the Pitcairners on 8th June 1856. Learn of the evolution of this marvellous language and the fascinating history of these people. Followed by light refreshments.

    Day 7

    Day 7 - 6 Oct Coastline Cruise & 3 Course Dinner

    Tour Information:
    2.5 hour tour operates daily on request. Departure time is usually at 1pm or 3pm.

    Tour Itinerary:
    Experience the island from a different perspective and enjoy magnificent views of the island from the ocean and the wonders of rugged cliffs, caves and blowholes, and the stunning birdlife. This 2.5-hour cruise includes light snacks and drinks.

    3 Course set menu with one glass of wine

    Day 8

    Day 8 - 7 Oct Return Home

    Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
    Depart 2.45pm Arrives Brisbane 3.10pm
