This morning, make your way to St Mark’s Square for the start of your small group tour to the Doges Palace, and mesmerising Golden Basilica. Following this, it is a guided walking tour through the quieter lanes and alleys, where you will see some architectural gems and historical buildings that are often overlooked by the crowds.

Following breakfast, get ready to embark on your next train to the Renaissance of Art – Florence! Enjoy the last views of the glistening canals before finding yourself winding through the stunning Italian countryside before arriving in Florence. Make your way to your hotel and check-in for a three-night stay.

After breakfast, make your way to your walking tour and visit the world-famous Uffizi and Accademia galleries. The Uffizi Gallery is one of the most renowned art museums in the world. Inside, you will encounter a stunning collection of Renaissance masterpieces, including works by Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, and Titian. The Accademia Gallery, is home to one of the most iconic sculptures in the world, Michelangelo’s David. Absorb all Florence has to offer as you walk the cobbled streets and admire the cathedrals.

From Florence, travel along the coast to La Spezia, then change for a short and wonderfully scenic regional train ride to Manarola. You will be met and shown to your own apartment. Along the way, your guide will give you all the information you need for your stay, as well as some suggestions as to what to do and some great restaurants. They will also present you with your Cinque Terre card which will cover any trip in the region during your stay. In the afternoon venture to an ancient wine cellar in Manarola for a warm welcome, and tastings of local wines and nibbles.

Today is a day to spent as you please, be it hiking the famous coastal path and enjoying the breath-taking views, riding the local train (covered by your Cinque Terre Card) visiting each of the five gorgeous villages, or simply relaxing in your apartment and living life like a local. In the evening, enjoy a sunset cruise from Manarola – a perfect and romantic tour to highlight the beauty of the Cinque Terre architecture from the coastline.

Another day in paradise today, and the full day is yours at leisure. You can speak to any of the rail experts should you like a tour of the local vineyards, or to take to the water for lunch or dinner with an amazing view.

Hop on the local train to La Spezia, then continue along the coast to Rome for a two-night stay. Once checked in, head out to enjoy the rest of the day at your own pace. Explore the riches of the Barberini Museum, visit the ancient Pantheon, or enjoy an aperitif on the elegant Piazza Navona before dinner.

Following breakfast, make your way over to the Colosseum for a guided tour of the famous Amphitheatre, then walk in the footsteps of ancient Romans once more with a guided stroll around the Roman Forum. These amazing ruins were for centuries the centre of day-to-day life in Rome. Afterwards, why not head over to the Trevi Fountain or Spanish Steps and see more of the famous sightseeing attractions. Make time to stop for Gelato or Cacio E Pepe!

Your journey to the Amalfi Coast begins with a train from Rome to Naples, where your private driver will meet you at the station. Enjoy a drive along the coast before arriving at your hotel for a three-night stay. The rest of the day is yours at leisure.

Following breakfast, travel in an air-conditioned mini-coach along spectacular coastal roads, stopping to visit the region’s three most popular and beautiful villages—Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello.
