Arrive at New Delhi’s International Airport. The city is nestled in the lap of majestic Yamuna River and presents the soul of India in its true self. Over thousands of years, it has wooed rulers, fascinated plunderers, and tried historians with details. Even today, Delhi preserves an enviable heritage; it’s a city always on the move. The city is sprinkled with captivating ancient monuments, picturesque gardens, magnificent museums, a vivacious performing arts scene and some of the sub-continent’s best restaurants. This city of contrasts is a treasure trove for tourists. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Tour Old and New Delhi. Visit sites such as the Raj Ghat, the resting place of Mahatma Gandhi, the Jama Mosque, Chandni Chowk and the Red Fort.
Begin the day with a morning flight to Kullu airport where you will be transferred to Manali. Manali is a high-altitude Himalayan resort town in India’s northern Himachal Pradesh state. It has a reputation as a backpacking center and honeymoon destination. Set on the Beas River, it’s a gateway for skiing in the Solang Valley and trekking in Parvati Valley. It’s also a jumping-off point for paragliding, rafting and mountaineering in the Pir Panjal mountains, home to 4,000m-high Rohtang Pass.
After breakfast, assemble for a small briefing about the tour and then take possession of the Royal Enfield commonly known as Bullet. Ride around Manali visiting Nicholas Roerich Museum, Hidimba Devi temple and the local market. Later explore the local markets of the Manali town.
Today your biking expedition in the Himalayas begins. The highest mountain range in the world, the Himalayas are also extremely mysterious and awe-inspiring. The scenery is just as varied, with the rolling hills, tranquil pine forests, vast apple orchards and beautiful valleys of the foothills giving way to dramatic canyons, soaring peaks and spectacular mountain passes. The rugged landscape is not only breathtakingly beautiful, but also ideal for motor biking.
Morning ride to Sarchu, en-route cross Darcha and Baralachala Pass (4800 m). Sarchu, an important stopover on the Leh-Manali highway, is situated at an elevation of just over 14,500 ft between the Himalayan mountain passes of Baralachcha La and Lachlung La. Sarchu is of great importance mainly due to its location on the Leh-Manali highway. Sarchu was an important trading point in the ancient Silk Route. It is still a hot favourite with traders, nomadic tribes and adventure seekers.
Ride your motorbike from Sarchu to Leh crossing Naki La,
Lachunga La and Tanglang La. Upon arrival in Leh, transfer to the hotel. Leh, the capital of Ladakh is a fascinating hill station. It lies amidst the snow-capped hills of the Himalayas with many monasteries and colorful markets. It is also the Buddhist capital of North India. At a height of 11,000 feet, there are many strikingly beautiful and majestic mountains here, which slowly merge into an oasis of green fields.
After breakfast, ride your Royal Enfield bikes to Nimo to witness the confluence of Zanskar and Indus River. Visiting Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and Spituk Monastery. The evening is free to walk around the local market of Leh.
Morning ride to Nubra valley via Khardungla Pass.
Khardung La pass or the “Pass of Lower Castle” at a height of 18,380 ft from the mean sea level lies on the road between Nubra valley and Leh in Ladakh. With the Ladakh range spreading towards the south and the Karakoram range to the north the views are simply magnificent with the white snow-capped mountain peaks all around at almost touching distance. Have a leisurely stroll with the cool refreshing mountain air caressing your face. You will feel rejuvenated. The thrill of visiting the highest pass in the world will churn up your emotions. Later drive to Nubra valley before spending the evening exploring Hunder Village.
After breakfast, leave for yet another mesmerising ride to follow Shyok river to reach Pangong Lake (4250 m). The ride to Pangong Lake takes you through the Changla Pass 17,350 ft.; it is the third highest motorable road in the world.
After breakfast, ride towards Leh town crossing over Chang La (5160 m) which has the distinction of being the 3rd highest motorable pass. En-route we also visit Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace to reach Leh.
After breakfast say goodbye to your motorbike and transfer to Leh airport for your flight to Delhi. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Today visit the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort. Famed with one of the Seven Wonders of the World – Taj Mahal, historical monuments, architectural grandeur ventures and the beauty of marbles, Agra thrives as one of the most popular tourist destination in India. The city is known for its superb inlay work on marble by craftsmen supposedly with a lineage dating back to the Mughals. Agra’s handicrafts also include carpets, gold thread embroidery and leather shoes.
