    Day 1

    Depart Perth

This evening you’ll be met at home by your private driver and transferred to Perth Airport. On arrival you’ll meet up with the rest of the group at check-in, before getting to know each other in the departure bar.

    Depart Perth

    Day 2

    Chobe Bakwena Lodge

Early this morning we’ll arrive into Johannesburg Airport and head straight to the lounge for some comfy chairs, complimentary beverages and Wi-Fi before our next flight. It’s a quick trip from here to Kasane, which is our gateway to Chobe National Park. On arrival in Kasane we’ll be met by our wonderful hosts at Chobe Bakwena Lodge. It’s a short drive to the lodge and once we’re there, we’ll sit down for lunch while your bags are taken to your room. If you’re feeling up to it, join me for our first sunset game drive tonight before dinner.
    (Meals and beverages included)

    Chobe Bakwena Lodge

    Day 3

    Chobe Bakwena Lodge

Meet in the lobby early this morning for a coffee and snack. We’ll jump in the safari vehicles and make our way to Chobe National Park, where we should arrive just as the gates are opening. This cooler time of the day is when the animals are most active. They are hungry or thirsty and we want to see them on the move. My first trip to Chobe I was less than 5 minutes into the park when 2 beautiful lioness’ and 1 young male walked straight toward my car and down the track behind me. If this morning’s coffee hasn’t woken you up by now, that sure will!
We’ll arrive back at the lodge around 9.30am and sit down for breakfast. After breakfast the choice is yours; maybe a wander through the local village by foot or on one of the lodge’s provided bikes (guided or not), a swim in the natural swimming pool filtered entirely by plants, or even have a nap (I won’t judge). Lunch and beverages are included whenever you’re ready for them.
This afternoon is going to be a treat! The Chobe river boasts one of the highest concentrations of wildlife on the planet, and tonight we’re going to explore it on a sunset cruise you’ll never forget. Watch the herds of elephant swimming, the hippos lazing and the crocodiles waiting on the water’s edge. We’ll make sure to bring the esky with us, so your choice of refreshment is on hand. After this it’s back to the lodge for dinner.
    (Meals and beverages included)

    Chobe Bakwena Lodge

    Day 4

    Camp Kuzuma

Today we travel to our next stop, and my favourite place in the world; Camp Kuzuma. Before we head off there’s plenty of time to enjoy one last game drive in Chobe National Park and another delicious meal. The drive from Bakwena to Kuzuma takes just over an hour – plenty of time for you to flick through the 2000 photos you’ve taken in the last 48 hours and relive some of the highlights with new friends.
The next 3 days at Camp Kuzuma are entirely up to you. Camp Kuzuma’s swimming pool is set right in front of a popular waterhole, so you’re guaranteed a sighting if you’re spending the day by the pool with a book. You’ll also notice something different about the game drives here. As we’re not in a national park anymore we have the freedom to drive when we want, where we want. Expect exciting night game drives which offer the opportunity to encounter nocturnal animals as well as the possibility of observing predators such as lion, leopard and hyena who hunt after sunset.
    (Meals and beverages included)

    Camp Kuzuma

    Day 5

    Camp Kuzuma

So, what does a day at Camp Kuzuma look like? Obviously, the day starts with a hot brewed coffee, followed by a morning game drive. With herds like wildebeest, elephant, buffalo, roan antelope, sable, giraffe, lion and leopard roaming the open plains, there is plenty to see. On return to the camp, a delicious and filling brunch is ready to sooth your rumbling safari belly. Relax on your deck or at the pool to watch the wildlife parade from there, or opt-in for a guided safari walk. In the afternoon it is time for probably some of the best high teas you will ever have, followed by the afternoon game drive and a sunset drink in the wild. And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, the chefs prepared a delicious three-course meal.
    (Meals and beverages included)

    Camp Kuzuma

    Day 6

    Camp Kuzuma

By now you will have realised why Camp Kuzuma is my favourite home away from home! The game drive guides and trackers are incredible, the food is stunning, the luxury tented suites are so good you just don’t want to leave, and evenings are rounded off with a night cap around the open fire in the sunken boma.
    (Meals and beverages included)

    Camp Kuzuma

    Day 7

    Gorges Lodge

After one last game drive we leave Camp Kuzuma bound for Gorges Lodge, located just outside of Victoria Falls. Gorges is famous for its spectacular views; whether you are enjoying a cup of coffee at sunrise on your private veranda or a cool refreshment by the pool at sunset, you will be constantly drawn to the stunning vistas provided by the Batoka Gorge and the rushing waters of the Zambezi River below.
Gorges Lodge is home to a pair of Verreaux’s Eagles that provide amazing displays of their aerobatic skills and courtship rituals, often at eye level. Evenings are their hunting time so sit back with sundowners and snacks as these magnificent birds soar past whilst hunting in the gorge.
    (Meals and beverages included)

    Gorges Lodge

    Day 8

    Gorges Lodge

Today we visit the magnificent Victoria Falls! Stroll along the rainforest’s edge and pause at each vantage point to make it a truly unforgettable experience. This evening we’ll take a sunset cruise down the Zambezi River.
    (Meals and beverages included)

    Gorges Lodge

    Day 9

    Table Bay Hotel

After breakfast we’re off to Victoria Falls Airport for our flight to Cape Town. On arrival in Cape Town our driver will take us straight to our hotel for check-in. The Table Bay Hotel offers the ultimate in 5-star luxury accommodation in Cape Town. Situated on the historic Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, The Table Bay hotel is perfectly positioned against the stunning backdrop of Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean and provides easy access to the top places to visit in Cape Town. Table Bay Hotel

Today we have a half day tour of Cape Town City and Table Mountain. The rest of the day and evening is at your leisure. Day 11

    Table Bay Hotel

Today we embark on a full day tour of Cape Point. Cape Town is built on a mountainous peninsula and this tour is an ideal way to see the highlights of the city. If open, we’ll continue on Chapman’s Peak Drive, noted as one of the most stunning roadways in the world. Next, a visit to Cape Point Nature Reserve and the tip of the Cape Peninsula that has captivated travellers for centuries. The return journey to Cape Town takes us along the False Bay coast with the option of visiting the colony of rare African Penguins at Boulders Beach.
