    Day 1

    Cape Town, South Africa

    On arrival in Cape Town, South Africa meet your Wildlife Safari representative who will escort you to the car hire terminal to pick up your hire car. Make your way to your hotel. The Vineyard is a secluded hotel nestled on an eco-award winning riverside estate overlooking the eastern slopes of Table Mountain, and conveniently located on the edge of the city. Dinner will be a seven course experience of the region’s flavours paired with superb South African wines.

    Day 2

    Cape Town, South Africa

    Experience a typical market day at the Oranjezicht City Farm Market, where local farmers and artisanal food producers sell seasonal produce. Continue to the Neighbourgoods Market at the Old Biscuit Mill to browse the range of delicious eats and treats, local fashion, arts and crafts.

    Day 3

    Cape Town, South Africa

    Gin has been a staple in South African history and the heritage continues. Many South African distillers are concocting incredible cocktails that often incorporate ingredients that are unique to the Cape. Join the South African “ginvolution” as you taste your way through Cape history and future on this exciting excursion.

    Day 4

    Franschhoek, South Africa

    This morning drive to Franschhoek, in the heart of the Cape Winelands. On your way stop at Waterford Estate in Stellenbosch for their legendary Wine Drive Safari, a unique three hour trip in their safari vehicle through the 120 hectare estate on the beautiful slopes of the Helderberg Mountain. Taste the award-winning estate wines amongst the vineyards of their origin as you are expertly guided through all the aspects of what makes this area so biologically diverse and viticulturally unique. The wine tasting will be accompanied by various light snacks paired with the individual wines. The experience will culminate with a wine and chocolate tasting back at the winery. Continue to your hotel in Franschhoek.

    Day 5

    Franschhoek, South Africa

    Discover the true essence of the Franschhoek Valley, its breathaking scenery, warm hospitality and fine wines. Experience a unique and leisurely journey through rolling vineyard in an open-sided tram and open-air tram-bus, stopping in at some of South Africa’s oldest and most distinguished wine estates.

    Day 6

    Sabi Sand, South Africa

    Make your way to Cape Town International Airport, drop off your hire car and check in for your own arrangements to Skukuza. Meet your lodge representative on arrival for your transfer by lodge vehicle to your private game reserve adjacent to Kruger National Park. Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge is a luxurious escape with sprawling viewing decks where you can relax, spot game and watch the more than 300 species of birdlife around the local waterhole. Your private thatched suite is beautifully styled and features a bathroom where you can shower surrounded by windows with views across the bushveld. Open courtyards are dotted around the lodge, with spectacular wooden carvings from renowned South African sculptors, created from uprooted trees and wood salvaged from the surrounding bushveld. You will be summoned to dinner underneath the African skies by a blast on a kudu horn.

    Day 7

    Sabi Sand, South Africa

    Morning and afternoon game viewing drives will have you venturing into the Sabi Sabi reserve, where big game moves freely within the Greater Kruger National Park. The reserve is blessed with a great biodiversity of habitat and wildlife, and you have an excellent chance of close encounters with the Big Five.

    Day 8

    Depart

    Enjoy a final early morning game viewing drive (time permitting) before your transfer by lodge vehicle to Skukuza Airport for your onward flight arrangements.
