I have been in the travel industry for 33+ years, it is as you say, in my DNA, as I grew up surrounded by the love of travel in my own family’s travel business. When our shop-front family business sadly closed after 50 years and 3 generations of operation I knew that change was in the air and that a personal travel manager / business owner was the model that suited myself and my clients the best. My clients, and their needs / choices matter the most; they have always been and will continue to be my number one priority. Working in partnership with my clients allows the creation of individualised holidays and with the attention to detail my client’s can travel stress-free & with the utmost confidence.
Over my 33+ years I have travelled both internationally and domestically, experienced and explored destinations using a variety of travel options / modes – eg. Self driven (cars and motorhomes); travel company organized tours (both day and extended in style); created my own day tours in consultation with specialized wholesalers; cruised (both large, small ship styles as well as European river cruising); cycling / segwaying; and bare boat sailing. Simply put, being a client’s personal travel manager, for me, is not just an occupation but an inspiring mix of passion and partnership.
