My first year as your Personal Travel Manager

My first year as your Personal Travel Manager

Thank you for supporting my small business in its 1st year! This year as your Personal Travel Manager has been a rollercoaster ride – and I’ve loved it! I couldn’t have made it through without you. I have some of the loveliest, most supportive clients all around the country – you all know who you are!

Joining the TravelManagers Australia family is the best decision that I have ever made. We have an amazing team at the National Partnership Office (NPO) in Sydney, I have the backing of my fabulous Business Partnership Manager here in Brisbane, and I have made some great new friendships with other Personal Travel Managers (PTMs). Knowing that I have each member of the team there to help is great comfort.

I’m also not isolated at home, as many people may think I am. I get out to local cafes to catch up with suppliers (& other PTMs) almost every week. I have been exposed to so many new suppliers this year – well new to me at least! The reps that I meet with are all so passionate about the businesses that they represent, that they really inspire me. The best thing about these catch-ups though is that I now have personal relationships with the some of best people in the industry, and that only helps to ensure that your holidays exceed your expectations!

I know that many of you are wondering how you can help me to grow my business even further. Here are three easy steps to do just that – while helping you, and your friends & family at the same time! Thanks ? Christie

Step 1. Use my business to help get away on your next holiday!

Your travel is my business

I operate my own small business, with the support of TravelManagers. My experience, skills & knowledge are provided to you at no extra charge.  I am here to help to book your next holiday – saving you time & money! I treat every holiday that I book as if it is my own, ensuring that you get the best experience possible every time that you travel.

When you ask for advice but do not book through me, I promise not to be offended. Please remember though the only way that I get paid for my time & the work that I have done for you is when you actually make a booking.

Your travel is my business, so please do not ask me to work for free!

Step 2. Interact with my business on Facebook

Follow me

I love to share travel inspiration with you on my Facebook page. Watch out for my Where I Wish I Was Wednesday #WIWIWW posts every week, along with anything else that I think will inspire you to try something new when you travel. I have shared all of the photos taken onboard a variety of ships over the years, and will post more as I have the chance to get onboard new ships. When I get the chance to travel, I’ll also share photos of the new places & experiences I am enjoying.

If you haven’t already, please Like my page. If you like what you see, you can change the default Follow settings to make sure that you see my posts first in your News Feed & get notifications every time that I post something new. The next step is to Share my page with your friends.

If you already like my page, thank you for your support! To make sure that your friends get to see my posts, please Like (good), Comment (better) and Share (best) any posts that you think they’ll enjoy.

Don’t forget to please also Tag my business in your photos and posts as you travel – @travelmanagers.christiegowan . You will inspire others to get out & experience the same experiences that you are enjoying!

The that more you interact with me on Facebook, the more inspired your friends will be to find out about my business!

Step 3. Talk about my business whenever you can

Business card

Whenever you’re talking holidays with your friends & family (or your hairdresser, doctor, accountant, personal trainer etc.), please just casually mention my name. Everyone needs their own Personal Travel Manager – and don’t know it! I am more than happy to send you a small stack of my business cards to hand out among your circle of influence.

Make sure to tell your friends & family to mention your name when they contact me. It’s lovely to know who has referred a new client, so that I can thank you for helping me to grow my business.

The best compliment that you can give me is the referral of a friend or family member!
