Uganda

The Pearl of Africa

Why I love Uganda

  • Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
  • First-class game viewing in Queen Elizabeth National Park
  • Beautiful scenery with lakes, waterfalls, channels
  • Chimp trekking in Kibale Forest

The best time to explore Uganda

June to September is considered the peak season of Uganda and one of the two dry seasons.  Wildlife will congregate around river, lakes and waterholes making for easy game viewing.  Gorilla trek and chimp trekking is more comfortable.

October to November is one of the two rainy seasons, some camps will close and roads can become impassable.

December to February also considered peak season and the dry season, perfect for safaris.

March to April again a rainy season, camps will close during this time.
