About me

I have been working in the retail travel industry for over 30 years. I’m married with 2 children and a cat.

In 2022 I celebrated 15 years in partnership with TravelManagers Australia. A huge leap of faith and one that I have never looked back from. This has allowed me to grow both professionally and personally and I am so proud to be part of the TravelManagers family.

Think of a Personal Travel Manager the way you’d think of a personal trainer or financial planner – there to help you achieve a specific goal in their field of expertise. In this case, it’s travel. And whether you’re travelling for business or for fun. I as your Personal Travel Manager will work closely with you to create a tailor-made trip that’s as individual as you are. I will also help you to navigate your way through our new world living with Covid-19. Assisting you with new country entry and Covid-19 testing requirements.

I have many repeat clients who appreciate my personal and professional service, and one of the unique advantages of having a personal travel manager is discussing travel plans at a time and place that is convenient to you. This way meetings are exclusive and effective.
I’m delighted to make your travel planning an easy and enjoyable experience.

My service does not stop when my clients start their trips either,  I am always available by phone, Skype or email should they require my assistance whilst away, and I cant wait to catch up with them after their return to hear about their experiences.

Where I've Travelled

2022: Finally travel was back!  This year brought travel to Trinity Beach (north of Cairns), Northern Victoria, Bali Indonesia, Sydney & Queenslands Gold Coast.

2021: In-between lockdowns my family and I enjoyed a road trip through south-eastern Victoria, southern NSW and Canberra. We also enjoyed 10 days travelling through North-West Tasmania when Covid domestic borders re-opened.

2020: Unfortunately there was no international travel this year due to Covid and the Australian international borders being closed. Living in Melbourne we spent most of the year in lockdown.

2019: Included travel to Sydney with the family, introducing my children to the city of Sydney. Japan in January was wonderful spending time in Tokyo and the Hakone/Mt Fuji regions. This was a great introduction for me experiencing the train systems, sites, sounds and food of Tokyo. I loved staying at a Ryokan (Traditional Japanese Inn) in Hakone.  Tasmania in March taking in the beautiful and wild west coast with Tourism Tasmania. Perth/Margaret River for the TravelManagers annual conference in August.  My first visit to Perth and certainly not my last.  Cant wait to get back there and explore further. Finally, Port Douglas in November made for a really enjoyable family holiday. It had been 20 years since I had last been to this region and it was so great to update my knowledge first-hand.

2018: I travelled to Cambodia visiting Phnom Penh, Battambang & Siem Reap.  Siem Reap was the highlight seeing Angkor Wat.  I also really enjoyed seeing the temples of Ta Prohm & Angkor Thom. In November I escorted my Calisthenics groups to the Gold Coast for the Pan Pacific Masters Games before enjoying a family holiday in Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast.

2017:  I travelled to Darwin, experienced the Indian Pacific train between Sydney and Adelaide, cruised onboard P&O’s Pacific Explorer and cruised onboard Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines  – Voyager of the Sea’s, escorting a Dance studio on Destination Dance’s Dance at Sea program. Apart from seeing the sites of Darwin, I travelled with my family to Kakadu N.P.  The highlights of this trip were experiencing Darwin’s Mindil Markets, and witnessing amazing sunsets every night.  Watching the sunset from Ubirr in Kakadu is something I will never forget. The Indian Pacific train trip was fabulous, visiting Broken Hill & SA’s Barossa Valley for food & wine tastings. On our cruise we visited the South Pacific islands of Lifou (Loyalty Islands), Mystery Island (Vanuatu) & Noumea (New Caledonia).

2016:  I travelled with my family to California.  We started in San Francisco, drove the Pacific Coast Highway down to South California where we stayed at the Legoland Hotel (where everything really IS awesome!), before finishing in Anaheim to join in on the Diamond Anniversary celebrations at Disneyland.   During this year I also travelled to Bangkok and Hua Hin in Thailand, and Australia’s Gold Coast.

Some of the experiences and destinations I have been fortunate to enjoy are  tandem surfing and abseiling in New Zealand, walking through Vietcong built tunnels in Vietnam, a helicopter flight through the Grand Canyon, Four wheel driving in Sedona, Arizona, experiencing the sights and flavours of France’s Loire Valley and Burgundy regions, and Canada’s Quebec region, flying over W.A’s Buccaneer Archpelaga, and landing at Cape Leveque.  Learning to surf at Waikiki Beach, Whale watching in Eastern Canada, and rock climbing, zip lining and abseiling in Las Pallisades, Charleviox, Canada.
