Travel has been a huge part of my life for over 25 years, and I still get just as excited helping someone plan their next holiday as I did when I first started in the industry.
Over the years I’ve been fortunate to work across many areas of travel, including leisure, corporate travel, destination weddings, honeymoons, family holidays, conferences and sporting groups. I’ve planned everything from a simple weekend escapes to complex, multi-country itineraries, and I genuinely love the challenge of creating holidays that are perfectly matched to each client.
I’m also a firm believer that the best travel advice comes from real experience. I travel whenever I can, whether it’s taking my family on our next adventure, exploring a new destination with my husband, or ticking another hiking trail or hidden gem off my bucket list. Experiencing destinations firsthand means I can recommend places, hotels and experiences with confidence because I’ve often been there myself.
One of the things my clients tell me they value most is having one person looking after everything. From our very first conversation until you’re safely home, I’m your dedicated travel advisor. No call centres, no being passed from one person to another – just personalised service, honest advice and someone who genuinely cares about making your trip unforgettable.
With so much information online, planning a holiday can quickly become overwhelming. That’s where I come in. I’ll take the time to understand what’s important to you, offer recommendations that suit your travel style and budget, and take care of all the little details that turn a good holiday into a great one.
For me, it’s never just about booking flights and accommodation. It’s about helping you create memories with the people you love, discover incredible places and travel with confidence, knowing someone is looking after you every step of the way.
Whether you’re planning a relaxing beach escape, a family adventure, a luxury cruise, a bucket-list journey or a complex business itinerary, I’d love to help make it happen.
I’ve been lucky enough to travel to some pretty incredible places over the years, thanks to both my career in the travel industry and my genuine love of exploring the world. Like most people, it all started with a handful of dream destinations, but with every trip, every conversation and every traveller I met along the way, that list just kept growing. The more I see, the more I realise there’s always another place to discover, another culture to experience and another adventure waiting.
While I love relaxing on a beautiful beach or wandering through vibrant cities, it’s often the experiences that challenge me or connect me to a destination on a deeper level that stay with me the longest.
One of the most meaningful journeys I’ve ever taken was walking the Kokoda Trail, following in the footsteps of my grandfather, who served there during the war. It was physically demanding, emotional and incredibly humbling, and it’s a trip I’ll carry with me forever.
Another unforgettable adventure was trekking through the Himalayas to Everest Base Camp. Standing amongst the world’s highest mountains after days of hiking was one of those moments where you simply stop, take it all in and realise just how extraordinary our world really is. The scenery was breathtaking, the people we met along the way were incredibly welcoming, and every step made reaching Base Camp even more rewarding.
Those adventures sit alongside so many other incredible travel memories- from Christmas in Canada, exploring Thailand with my family, cruising through Alaska, relaxing in the Maldives and discovering hidden gems I might never have found if I’d stuck to the typical tourist trail.
One destination that has completely captured my heart is Canada. There’s just something about it that keeps drawing me back. Maybe it’s the breathtaking mountain scenery, the friendly locals, the cosy ski villages or the fact that Christmas there feels like you’ve stepped straight into a movie.
Every visit has left me wanting to see more. I love that one day you can be wandering through a vibrant city like Vancouver, and the next you’re surrounded by snow-covered mountains, skiing through a village or sitting on a frozen lake trying your hand at ice fishing. Canada has this incredible way of making you slow down, take it all in and appreciate just how beautiful the world can be. It’s one of those places I find myself recommending over and over again because I know just how special it is.
Asia has been another region that’s become a real favourite of mine, and every trip seems to show me something completely different. I’ve loved wandering through bustling street markets, discovering hidden cafés, hiking through national parks, relaxing on beautiful beaches and finding those little local experiences that you could never plan from reading a guidebook.
While I enjoy visiting the iconic sights, I’ve realised over the years that it’s often the unexpected moments I remember the most. It’s chatting to a local who points you towards a restaurant you’d never have found yourself, stumbling across a tiny village festival, or saying yes to an experience that wasn’t even on the itinerary. Those are the moments that turn a great holiday into an unforgettable one.
That’s probably why I love planning travel so much. I don’t just want my clients to tick destinations off a list- I want them to come home with stories they’ll be telling for years. Whether that’s watching the northern lights dance across the sky, trekking through remote mountains, finding the perfect little beach, or simply discovering a place that feels like a second home, those are the kinds of holidays I love creating.
