I think travel is a great gift – one which can change our visions and understanding of people and the world around us.
My first international adventure was as a Rotary Exchange Student at 16 years old when I lived in Austria for a year – a huge step into the world for a young country town girl from Australia! This opened my eyes and heart to the world and there was no going back from there! I am now in a new phase of my life after all 4 kids empty nested and moved abroad as well chasing their dreams and careers all over the world. I have taken the opportunity to be closer to them and live in the country I fell in love with all those years ago, making a new home in Austria, just outside of Salzburg where I am also working as a tour guide on the infamous Sound of Music tours – a job that is so much fun with so much love, that I would do it on a volunteer basis! :)
I am still running Travel Managers from Austria as well, but just for a limited client base to make sure I can dedicate the time and attention needed. Now, more than ever, it can be complicated to navigate the ever changing rules of airfares, hotel and tour cancellation policies, and to just make sure you are safe and supported while traveling. That’s what I am here for. :)
In addition to high end travel, and bespoke local experiences in Austria as my main niche, I have a over a decade of experience in corporate event travel management for groups. I can work with, and free up time for, your event planning team. Having worked on groups from 20 – 1000 internationally, I have many systems in place and global connections to streamline your next corporate event’s travel and planning needs, so that you can work with your event planners on the fun stuff!
I also host small corporate team building groups in Austria – ski weeks are a great way to bond and discuss personal challenges and learnings on the slopes and ways to integrate those learnings into our work and personal lives. I stay with you for the week to take care of all your needs – usually in a beautiful ski in ski out chalet – and you get to learn a bit more about Austrian life at the same time!

Antarctica – top of my bucket list is to cruise there, but I got to see a glimpse of it from the air on the World’s most scenic flight through Antarctica Flights and it was amaaazing! :)
Canada – Winter adventures – skiing, ice climbing, snow shoeing, snow hiking
Europe – currently living in Austria which is a great base to explore all the surrounding countries and have had many family holidays over this way as well. Austria and Switzerland are the ones I know best, but have been all over the place and can help you design epic adventures in all countries.
USA – New Orleans, Houston, Los Angeles and the coast up to San Francisco, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, drove a convertible through Death Valley by myself – EPIC!! New York, Washington DC, Vermont – with 2 of my kids living in the USA now, this list is expanding with every visit! :)
Fiji – Blue Lagoon Cruise in the Yasawa Islands (you need to do this!!)
New Zealand – South Island – whale watching, dolphin cruise, Christchurch tour, Abel Tasman national park
India – rickshaw ride through Dehli, Taj Mahal (Wow!), elephant ride to Amber fort in Jaipur, shopping in local markets, village walk in Alsisar
Australia – Sailing, Skiing, Island hopping, Theme parks, Motor homes, self-drive, have stayed in a variety of places from Caravan parks to 5 star hotels! Enjoyed a 2 month roadtrip in 2019 through western Queensland, out to Kings Canyon and Uluru, down to South Australia and then along the Great Ocean Road in Victoria before heading through to Sydney and up the east coast.
Cruise – Royal Caribbean Voyager of the Seas cruise, Pacific Dawn Comedy Cruise, Queen Elizabeth II from Melbourne to Adelaide, and inspected many other cruise ships.
Austria has had my heart since I was here as an exchange student in 1990 for a year. I now live there just outside Salzburg, and love more than anything to share and showcase this beautiful country, in particular sharing the culture and traditions – many of which you would not know about as a tourist. The key point of difference about being a Personal Travel Manager is the flexibility. I can work anytime, anywhere. Being a Mum of four, I totally understand how busy life can get, and can therefore work around a time that suits you (when I am not asleep in Austria!). We can chat via email or Whatsapp, and I love to meet up with my clients when they are in Europe if I can too!
As your Travel Manager, I can help you with making as many or as few arrangements as you like to pre-organise. From flights and accommodation to Travel Insurance and visa information. I also love finding out about things to do in each place you visit, whether it be a local cooking course, or an overnight trek where you sleep in an igloo!
These are the experiences which make a holiday memorable, and it is worth doing some research together before you go so that you can get there and jump straight into the action!
