Aman has unveiled the name of its first luxury motor yacht: Amangati, meaning “peaceful motion” in Sanskrit—a fitting title for the brand’s inaugural venture at sea.
Currently under construction at the T. Mariotti shipyard in Genoa, the 600-foot vessel is scheduled to launch in 2027.
Part of the Aman at Sea initiative, first announced in 2021, Amangati is being developed in collaboration with Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design. The name reflects the yacht’s guiding philosophy of effortless forward movement and serene refinement, echoed in the vessel’s graceful lines and meditative design, which will define the onboard experience.
Optimising privacy and space, the yacht will offer 47 expansive suites—each with its own private balcony—ranking amongst the largest accommodations found on a vessel of this class.
Guests will enjoy a host of elevated amenities, including four distinctive international dining concepts, a jazz club, and a tranquil Aman Spa complete with a Japanese garden. An expansive beach club at the stern will provide direct access to the sea, reinforcing the seamless connection to nature.
As part of Aman’s commitment to reducing environmental impact, Amangati will incorporate battery technology to partially power the vessel.
Launching in the Mediterranean in summer 2027, Amangati will also be available for private charter.
