About me

Returning from a working/hitch hiking holiday (much to my parent’s horror) through  England and Europe in 1981 I was offered a position with  Thai Airways.  I have also worked for Singapore Airlines and Ansett Airlines.
The experience I gained working in this area of the travel industry boded well for my future roles.  Several years and two children later I was approached by a large Retail Travel Agency with a membership client base. I was offered a position as a Senior  International Consultant.  Needing a new challenge I took on this role with great enthusiasm.

Working in Retail travel ignited my passion for  customer service and building strong client relationships.   I love discussing my clients wish lists, discovering their dreams and desires, and working with them on their itinerary, their travel budget plus any special needs for themselves and family members. This was, and continues to be very satisfying work.

In the early 1990’s I was fortunate to be a participant in the Trafalgar Tours high achievers tour to Italy flying Business class which was a fabulous learning experience.
In mid 1990 I was honoured to be nominated by my peers as Best Female Consultant in the Concorde Travel Awards. I was absolutely stunned to be runner up resulting in the fabulous prize of an Asia cruise .

I was approached to manage a  Retail/Corporate Agency for three years prior to moving to the United States where I lived for six years. While living in Colorado I travelled extensively through Colorado as well as the US mid West and Texas.

Throughout my almost thirty years in the travel industry I have built strong, rewarding relationships with my loyal clients and with  local suppliers.  My personal goal is to offer the type of customer service we all deserve, convenient, cost effective and tailored to suit each individual clients needs.  I particularly welcome first time travellers who may be unsure of where and how to start the planning process or may have financial constraints.

While I don’t profess to specialise in any particular area, I have been extremely fortunate to travel the world for my work and for pleasure.  I have many personal favourite destinations and would love the opportunity to learn about yours.

I advise my clients that I don’t close the doors and turn off my phones at 5.30 pm. My clients are reassured that in an emergency they know they can contact me at any time.

Where I've Travelled


There are many, many destinations I have not yet visited, I have however successfully researched and planned in great detail on behalf of my clients. Many of my wonderful clients have provided me with informative and valuable feedback on their travel experiences which has further reinforced my research and understanding of those areas.
