“We just wanted to say a huge thank you for helping us create such an incredible family holiday in Japan. From the moment we left, it was obvious how much thought and planning had gone into our itinerary. Everything was organised so well that all we had to do was pack our bags and decide what we felt like doing each day. With how busy life was leading up to the trip, that took away so much stress and allowed us to simply enjoy every moment. Every accommodation you chose exceeded our expectations. We genuinely loved them all, but Hakone was definitely a highlight. Staying in the ryokan and experiencing our own private onsen was something really special and one of our favourite memories from the trip. The recommendations in our Japan info pack were fantastic too. We referred to it constantly throughout the holiday for ideas, hidden gems and local recommendations. It really helped us make the most of every destination. The only small thing we reflected on afterwards was that, if we were doing it again, we probably would have caught a slightly later train from Hakone to Kyoto. We would have loved a little more time to explore Hakone, and because we had plenty of time in Kyoto, arriving a bit later wouldn't have made much difference. Thank you so, so much for creating such a magical family holiday. We absolutely loved Japan! The culture, the people, the food, and all the hidden little spots we discovered along the way. “Given I lived in a separate state to Ellie, I wasn't sure how this was going to work, but it turned out to be an absolute breeze! We initially chatted about my travel expectations, then she emailed me a number of brochures to peruse. Even when my travel choices changed, Ellie was right there, gently guiding me through my decisions, making the process seemless. And when my luggage was delayed during a stop-over, Ellie was right beside me all the way providing the support I needed; she contacted her colleagues at the 'offending' airline who then assisted with the location of my luggage.
