“My passion for travel ignited during my early years, exploring Spain and France with my family and growing up in a guest house akin to scenes from ‘Fawlty Towers’ on the Isle of Man. These experiences imprinted the travel & tourism industry in me.
Upon moving to Australia and completing my education, I began my career with a wholesaler, curating enticing packages for destinations like Bali, Sabah, and Sarawak. This role connected me with numerous travel agencies, leading to an enriching seven years with the renowned National Australia Bank Travel. (What! the banks had travel agencies!) Started as the junior domestic leisure and corporate consultant growing into a second in charge position, handling large corporate accounts and leisure international travel.
After starting a family, I returned to the travel domain. I ventured into entrepreneurship, rescuing and transforming a local agency into a national business, specialising in Destination Weddings. I had the privilege of planning destination Weddings & Honeymooners for hundreds of couples and their guest all over the world. Over twelve years of running the agency, I steered its success before transitioning to a luxury travel agency, where I dedicated over eight enlightening years.
