My first taste of adventure was when I jetted off to the USA solo at 21 years old. I started off with a 2-week Contiki on the West Coast, where I made friends for life; after that, I continued on to New York and explored the East Coast.
After I returned home, I got a working visa for the UK, where I lived for nearly 3 years. During that time, I explored many countries around Europe, and my passion for seeing the world and visiting new places was ignited. Shortly after my return to Australia, I met my husband, who was on a student visa from the Netherlands, and I quickly realised he also shared a love of travel.
For the last 15 years we’ve had countless adventures travelling around the globe. We now take our two children along on our trips and enjoy showing and teaching them what the world has to offer and how to appreciate other cultures and lifestyles.

Cruising:
There are too many to mention all of them; a few favourites of mine are:
Africa: Young & old, everyone should experience Africa at least once in their lifetime. The sunsets and sunrises in Africa are like no other. South Africa offers luxury hotels, outstanding cuisine, and world-class wineries. Africa, being the second largest continent in the world, boasts some of the world’s largest features, including the largest desert, the longest river, the largest living land animal, and the highest freestanding mountain to name a few. Additionally, the Serengeti in Tanzania hosts the largest wildlife migration on Earth, with over 750,000 zebras leading 1.2 million wildebeest as they traverse this unique landscape. Seeing wildlife in their natural habitat is something you’ll never forget.
Hawaii: It really is heaven on earth. It’s laid back, full of culture, has sparkling beaches, active volcanoes, amazing sea life, and some of the best surf in the world, if not the best. The pineapples are plentiful, and the shopping is also top-notch. Each island has it’s own stunning beauty, people, and character.
Japan: This country offers a wealth of experiences, including world-class skiing and snowboarding, beaches, scuba diving, mountain climbing, upscale shopping and restaurants catering to all budgets, reliable and efficient transportation, ancient temples, world-class cuisine, a wide range of festivals throughout the year, and some of the friendliest people on the planet. Not to mention 2 amazing Disney parks and Universal Studios. Japan is a must-see and a country you will want to visit more than once with and without your kids.
New York: The city that never sleeps. Standing in Times Square truly gives you a sense of being at the heart of the world. If you love museums, this city is your place. Yellow taxis, colossal skyscrapers, giant pizza slices, Yankees & Knicks games, Ellis Island, and Central Park. I’ve been fortunate to visit here many times, and it never gets old.
Dubai: I never get tired of this desert metropolis. It’s an excellent choice for a stopover or weeklong getaway. Dubai’s opulent architecture, breathtaking skylines, and enormous tax-free malls have made it one of the most well-known travel destinations in the world. It’s a city that epitomises elegance and modernism, a haven of absolute luxury in the middle of the desert. The Burj Khalifa, the world’s highest man-made structure, is located in Dubai; there are also countless beach clubs, waterparks, and on- and off-road adventures to be had.
I can do everything.
