Hi, I’m Kristen.
Good travel doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from asking the right questions, understanding the people you’re planning for, and caring about the details long after the booking is confirmed.
I’m a Perth-based Personal Travel Manager with TravelManagers. Travel has been part of my life since I was born. Growing up across multiple countries and moving on average every 18 months, I developed an understanding of travel that goes well beyond knowing destinations. I know what it takes to make a trip run smoothly, and I know what happens when something gets missed.
My background spans primary school teaching, retail management, hospitality, training facilitation, business development and risk management, and I bring something from each of those roles into how I work with clients today. I chose to work independently with TravelManagers because I wanted to dedicate the time to listen carefully, ask the right questions and build itineraries that genuinely fit the people taking them.
I have a particular interest in cruise travel and am a member of CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association), which allows me to stay current with industry developments, destination knowledge and cruise-specific training.
I also enjoy helping clients plan family holidays, milestone celebrations and meaningful travel experiences that bring people together. Much of my role is understanding what matters most to each traveller and creating an experience that feels effortless, whether that means balancing different personalities, coordinating complex logistics or simply helping someone make the most of their time away.
Some clients come to me with a destination already in mind. Others have a milestone to celebrate, a cruise they’ve been dreaming about, or simply the desire to travel without knowing where to start.
For some, I manage every detail from planning through to departure. For others, I provide advice, recommendations and practical guidance so they can book with confidence themselves. My role is to provide the level of support that’s right for you.
Alongside travel, I have spent more than seven years working within a specialist risk management environment focused on travel risk and corporate security. That experience has given me a broader understanding of the world, how different destinations operate and the practical considerations travellers should be aware of before they leave home. It helps me ask better questions, identify potential challenges and support clients in making informed travel decisions.
If you’re ready to start planning, get in touch through the contact form below and let’s work out what’s possible.
I’ve travelled extensively over the years, experiencing a wide range of destinations, cultures, and ways of travelling. There are still plenty of places on my list, and I’m always working through a personal bucket list of experiences and destinations I’d love to see. That ongoing curiosity and love for travel continues to shape how I plan and recommend travel for others.
Europe and the Middle East are destinations I’m particularly passionate about, shaped by the time I’ve spent living and travelling there. I also enjoy helping clients explore Australia and destinations that offer something a little more meaningful and considered. There’s always a growing list of places I’m working through myself, which keeps that sense of curiosity very much alive.
Would love to hear about your travels too, and where to next…
