Traveling isn’t just a hobby for me; it’s a lifelong passion deeply rooted in my family’s history and nurtured by a burning desire to explore the beauty of our world.
My love affair with travel was ignited by the stories of my beloved grandparents, who were true globetrotters. I vividly remember awaiting their return from escapades to far-flung, exotic destinations, eagerly anticipating their tales of adventure and the treasures they brought back. These cherished memories set the stage for a future filled with exploration.
At the age of 16, my world expanded dramatically when my grandparents took my sister, cousin, and I on a life-changing trip to Bali. For a teenager from regional NSW who had never ventured to Sydney, it was a profound eye-opener. That experience opened the floodgates of my adventurous spirit, propelling me to explore the diverse cultures and landscapes our world has to offer.
My affection for Disney has taken me to enchanted places like Tokyo Disney, Hong Kong Disney, Disneyland, and Disney World, where I’ve celebrated the magic several times. A Disney Very Merrytime Christmas cruise remains one of my cherished experiences in the world of Disney.
My travel adventures extend to the United States, where I’ve extensively explored all corners of the country. I’ve ventured to over 90 U.S. National Parks and Monuments, driven Route 66, and travelled the East and West coasts. I’ve set foot in 40 states, each with its unique charm and beauty.
With the arrival of my twin daughters, my family discovered our shared love for cruising. We’ve found it to be not only great value for money but also an amazing way to cater to everyone’s interests. Over the years we’ve sailed from Sydney to Honolulu, explored the Caribbean, traversed the Panama Canal, cruised through Asia, and across the Pacific. Our most recent adventures have taken us on both an Alaska cruise and a Japan cruise in May — unforgettable journeys! And next year, we’re eagerly looking forward to our next adventure at sea.
We have sailed with a variety of major cruise lines on voyages ranging from 3 to 21 nights.
Some of the highlights of my travels include dog sledding in Canada and the USA, sailing through the Panama Canal, swimming with majestic manatees, cradling a baby sloth, and driving the awe-inspiring Scenic Byway Utah 12.
Experiencing New York City at Christmas and celebrating a white Christmas in Park City, Utah, have also been magical moments.

MEXICO & CENTRAL AMERICA: Experienced in Mexico and Central America including Acapulco cliff divers, Cabo San Lucas ATV adventures, UNESCO-listed Antigua (Guatemala), and Colombia wildlife encounters including sloths, toucans and macaws.
