Travel, simplified without compromising on experience.
Travel today comes with more choice, more complexity, and often more uncertainty behind the scenes.
This page answers the questions I’m most often asked by busy professionals who want their travel to feel effortless, well-considered, and fully supported from beginning to end.
- What does a Personal Travel Manager actually do?
I design and manage your entire journey from start to finish.
That includes:
- Understanding how you want to feel from your trip
- Curating destinations, accommodation, and experiences
- Managing logistics, timing, and transitions
- Providing support before and during travel
Think of it as having a trusted expert who brings everything together seamlessly—so you don’t have to.
- Why should I use a Europe travel expert instead of booking online?
You absolutely can book online but what you don’t see is often what impacts your experience most.
I provide:
- Insight you won’t find on booking platforms
- Access to trusted suppliers and value-added benefits
- Strategic planning that protects your time and energy
- A safety net when plans change
For many of my clients, it’s less about bookingand more about peace of mind. Every itinerary is tailored, no two journeys are the same.
- What types of travel do you specialise in?
My focus is on:
- Bespoke Europe itineraries
- Wellness and restorative travel
- Luxury and boutique experiences
- Culinary and immersive journeys
- Solo-but-social and small group travel
Every itinerary is tailored, no two journeys are the same.
- As a Europe Travel Expert – do you only book Europe?
Europe is my core specialty, however I also support travel across:
- Asia and the South Pacific
- Australia and New Zealand
- South America, North American & Canada
- South and North Africa
The same level of personalised planning and care applies, regardless of destination.
- Can you help with flights only?
I can assist with flights, however, I prioritise bookings that form part of a broader itinerary, including accommodation or land arrangements. As airlines no longer support travel professionals for flight-only bookings, this ensures I can provide the level of service, coordination, and support my clients expect.
- How does your planning process work?
It’s a guided and collaborative process:
- Initial consultation – we explore your ideas, timing, and travel style
- Design phase – I curate and present tailored options
- Refinement – we adjust and personalise every detail
- Booking & preparation – everything is confirmed and organised
- Travel support – you have ongoing assistance while you travel
The goal is to make the entire experience feel clear, calm, and considered.
- How far in advance should I start planning?
Ideally:
- Europe peak seasons (summer & Christmas markets): 9–12 months ahead
- Complex itineraries or luxury travel: as early as possible
Planning early gives you:
- Better availability
- More choice
- A far more relaxed experience from the outset
- Do you charge a fee?
Yes, my work is a professional service. (Schedule of Fees)
Your investment covers:
- Time, expertise, and personalised planning
- Supplier coordination and itinerary management
- Ongoing support before and during travel
This ensures I can deliver the level of detail, care, and responsiveness my clients expect.
- What happens if something goes wrong while I’m travelling?
This is where my role becomes invaluable.
If disruptions occur (delays, cancellations, route changes), I:
- Act on your behalf
- Work with airlines and suppliers directly
- Provide alternative solutions quickly
You’re not navigating it alone. I’m your point of contact throughout.
