Cruising is slowly returning and bookings are building. It has always been a holiday that people book a year or more in advance, so if you are contemplating a cruise in late 2021 and beyond – now is the time to start planning. Cruising has been at the forefront of health and safety as a holiday for many, many years and the additional protocols being put in place for a resumption of cruising will truly make it one of the safest ways to holiday. By the time Australians can travel internationally – the rest of the world may have been cruising for up to 9 months – allowing plenty of time to iron out any “kinks” and solidify best practise pre, during and post cruise. Cruise lines also recognise that you may be a little nervous still so many will have flexible booking and refund conditions to help you feel confident securing that well deserved holiday and have something to look forward to as our nation of travellers emerge from this hiatus.
