Patty Poutanen Personal Travel Manager

“Another great adventure! Thank you, Patty, for your time, expertise and effort in organising our recent multigenerational Singapore, Paris and England trip which was full of special memories and experiences! Patty's expertise, organisation, advice and availability to trouble shoot any little hiccups along the way is why we continue to trust Patty with our travel arrangements. Patty arranged my first ever overseas trip in 2008 (supporting the nerves of a then novice traveller). After this the travel bug was in full flight with Patty organising more European adventures in 2014 and a Canadian White Christmas in 2016. Thanks again Patty!”

“Our enjoyment of our fantastic six week holiday through Singapore, Paris, Cotswolds, Oxford, Ireland and Scotland was in no small part due to the expertise of our wonderful and experienced travel agent Patty. She was there for all of our requests from insurance, flights, accommodation bases, special attractions, hire cars, ferries etc. When we needed support with a couple of hiccups Patty was there at the time and on our return. Thanks again Patty. Looking forward to our next journey with you.”

“Patty has been the travel manager that we have trusted for many years to assist us in organising a number of international multigenerational family trips. We have just returned from our most recent trip to Europe/UK and can't thank Patty enough for another wonderful holiday. Patty's expert knowledge, guidance and advice as well as ongoing support for any unexpected issues is second to none! Thank you again Patty and we look forward to working with you again for our future family adventures 😊”

“Highly knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble for her. She literally saved our trip during the heat and torment of the Iranian conflict. We had a few flight changes, but thank goodness she was batting for us!”

“Brilliant Japan holiday, everything went seamlessly. Great knowledge and attention to detail. Highly recommended.”

“We are so happy that our holiday in Italy went so perfectly even after the flight cancellation and me changing one of the nights accommodation to Milan. The hotel transfers were a blessing as moving hotels every 2 days was an issue. Over it was awesome. ”

“Patty was excellent at arranging an amazing cruise for me. Great holiday and looking forward to repeating the experience at a different destination. Thank you.”

“I have several times had Patty organise my travel since 2013. Always the consummate professional. The price is always good and she thinks about things I might not have thought about. We have just had her book our 2025-26 overseas travel and everything was stress or worry free. I know I could probably book stuff myself, but I don't have the expertise to know if I got everything right and still not get ripped off. Having Patty on my side, means I get both the surety, and the deals. Riding at 850kph, 10km above the planet in a hollow metal tube flown by a complete stranger... is un-nerving enough... it's nice to know my connections will work and the destination is sorted. I am very pleased (enthused) to recommend Patty to help with your travel plans. Now my only worry is letting my 20-something son house sit for us...”

“We booked our trip to Europe through Patty Poutanen / Travel Managers and couldn’t have been happier. The attention to detail with all our transfers, tours and accomodation was exemplary - there were simply no issues to complain about. Every detail was referenced in an easily navigated phone app, from flights, accommodation, FAQs, emergency phone contacts, history and facts about attractions, sights to see and advice on day to day activities. We had a need to organise disability assistance, and from pre-booked airport guidance to private transfers and private tours this happened seamlessly and with no fuss. All said, Patty provided a 5-star service, and we will book further trips with her. We whole heartedly recommend her to our family, friends and wider community.”

“While we're waiting to fly home I had a thought about the person who put all this together. Just want to give a huge shoutout to our dear friend & Travel Agent, Patty Poutanen from TravelManagers – the amazing travel agent who made this whole trip run like a dream! ✈️🧳🌏 From the very beginning, Patty took care of everything....... flights, cruises, connections, insurance, special requests, you name it. Her attention to detail, calm approach, and years of experience made all the difference. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she always had a solution ready before I even knew there could be a problem! If you’re planning a holiday and want someone who takes the stress out of it all and genuinely cares about making your trip special, I highly recommend giving Patty a call. She’s the best in the business — I wouldn’t travel without her. 💼💙 Thank you, Patty, for helping make this such a memorable and stress free journey 🙏🌟❤️”

“We made it to the top of Machu Picchu. This was one of many highlights. It was an amazing experience, with fantastic weather and all flight connections and transfers running smoothly. Thank you Patty for organising our South American holiday!”

“My family and I recently returned from an unforgettable trip to Rome and the Amalfi Coast, all expertly coordinated by Patty Poutanen, our Personal Travel Manager—and we couldn’t be more grateful for her incredible work. Patty took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for and delivered a well organised, seamless holiday that included a small number of tours and plenty of time in between to walk, explore, eat, and relax. The accommodation arrangements in both Rome and Sorrento, which was our base to explore the Amalfi Coast, met all of our needs. They were both well situated, within walking distance from the major attractions and town and city centres, but away from the business of the more populated tourist areas. Patty also organised private transfers and train travel for the entire trip which took the stress out of having to navigate this ourselves. What really stood out to us was Patty’s warmth, professionalism, and responsiveness. Even while we were traveling, she checked in to make sure everything was running smoothly and was always just a message away if we needed her. This trip gave us memories that will last a lifetime, and we are already thinking of our next holiday and will absolutely connect with Patty again when the time comes to plan this. Grazie mille, Patty!”

“We booked our family holiday to Europe with Patty Poutanen, and it was the best decision! She recommended a stunning train tour through Switzerland with Cosmos, which became a true highlight for us. From there, we spent two and a half months exploring Italy, and having Patty’s support made everything so smooth. She organised all our accommodation, train tickets, tours, transfers, and hire car, which made travelling with teenagers and luggage so much easier. Her knowledge of Italy and thoughtful recommendations took the stress out of planning, we were able to simply enjoy the journey. We can’t recommend Patty highly enough, especially for families travelling to Italy! Thank you Patty! ”

“What an absolute incredible trip planned by Patty at Travel Managers tm.patty Every place on every tour was more than we expected . The sightseeing of beautiful villages , small towns being some of the oldest places, all the incredible churches , buildings that were breathtaking . The Amalfi coast was insanely beautiful with blue waters that blew our minds . The 12 tours were an absolute must as we got to visit places that we hadn’t even heard of with the phenomenal views from the very top of some of the hills , enjoying the history and the cultures of so many places , and let’s not forget the food … very important !! The tour guides were fantastic and allowed us to see so much more . An experience with hiring the car was something we will definitely be doing again travelling down south and being able to see so much was great !! All our private transfers that were organised through Patty were great ! Patty made sure this was a first time Europe trip, one that we would never forget and that it was !! Everything was organised in perfect order from flights , transfers , train tickets , tour tickets and of course the transfers to all our locations and all went very smoothly . Once again Thankyou Patty you were truly amazing and can’t wait to book another Europe Trip adventure.”

“We have been working with Patty for 20 years, and she never disappoints! This year, we booked a Scenic tour from Hanoi to Siem Reap and a 10-day holiday in Chiang Mai. We were so impressed with Patty's attention to detail, follow through and extensive knowledge of the region. We would have no hesitation in recommending Patty to anyone planning a holiday domestically or internationally. In fact, we're already planning our next adventure! Louise & Gerard Montafia”

“On our Ciao Italia Tour, Patty was a professional host. She kept an eye out for everyone. Made sure each night, all of us knew the next day plans, checked the board in the lobby. Was a 24 hour host. Fixing little hiccups and never complained, nothing was a bother. Made sure at every hotel stop everyone was happy with their rooms, meals. she also had a lot of information on Italy because she had done some of the destinations previously. Checked itineraries , organized porters for luggage at her own cost. Not often your travel agent is on tour with you as a 24 hour carer. Well done Patty. Thank you for all the care and consideration. Italy is your speciality. Look forward to the next tour.”

“Patty has organised many holidays for both our family and now as a couple. “After a recent trip to Italy I realised how valuable and supportive it is to have a personal Travel Manager like Patty . Our holiday was organised and planned really well with excellent attention to every detail. Patty messaged us whilst we were away to make sure everything was going well. I realised how invaluable it is to be able to contact Patty at anytime rather than having to go through a call centre whilst hoping someone speaks your language. Would recommend Patty to anyone who wants good old fashioned reliable customer service and a commitment to meticulously organised holidays. Looking forward to more expertly planned trips”

“Can't thank Patty Poutanen enough for the assistance she gave my daughter, Hannah. Who would have thought when my she booked her UK/European gap year in 2019, that 2020 would turn out the way it did? Having used Patty's Personal Travel Manager service a few times as a family, we were confident of worry free travel experience for Hannah traveling solo. When Covid thwart Hannah continuing her trip, Patty was there to facilitate her return to Oz. Awesome service, wouldn't use anyone else. Competitive prices, extensive travel knowledge and support. Highly recommended.”

“Patty is patient, no matter how stressed I get. And she always has the answers. So grateful that I’d booked my flights through her - as always. Thanks Patty.”
