What excites me about travel? After seven years of travel – immersed in other cultures, learning new languages, and experiencing the freedom to roam where I wanted – I felt like an explorer and it was addictive. Fast forward a few years, two beautiful children later, we are still roaming the globe whenever we can. I’m also just as excited planning a trip for someone else to be the explorer. I love the research, planning and I love talking to my clients when they come home to hear about their adventures – it is still addictive. I have high expectations of myself when it comes to service and professionalism. I’ve discovered from my years in service industries, including nearly six years on private yachts as chief stewardess, that I am well attuned to people’s needs and demands. I enjoy building a relationship with my clients, understanding them and finding them their dream experience. For nearly six years I’ve sailed the Mediterranean and Caribbean, and crossed the Atlantic several times. I’ve lived in Austria for the ski season, learnt Spanish in Ecuador and climbed Mt Kilimanjaro. I’ve snorkeled, dived, climbed, trekked, para-sailed and canoed my way around the world. And I’ve done some great wine tasting, gourmet food trails and of course shopping along the way. By necessity, all this means- I’ve experienced many airlines, hotels and restaurants around the world. Chances are, whatever your plans, I can put myself in your shoes and treat you to the service you deserve when booking your travel.
