From the bustling streets of Colombo to the wild plains of Minneriya Reservoir, home to many of the country's native elephants, every day offered something new and memorable. The tour organised by Travel Managers and Michelle Nicholas was superb, with incredible sightseeing and photo opportunities galore. “Hey Michelle, Just a quick review of my recent trip with you to Sri Lanka early this Oct 26. It was a fantastic trip - viewing in a large loop from Colombo. Having 3 locals (one bus driver, one assistant bus driver, and one tour guide) on the Toyota Coaster made for such an easy trip. In fact all the contacts (at the airports, in Colombo, Kandy made for such a richer experience as their local, realistic and warm personalities made each little adventure so much more pleasurable. With 70% of Sri Lanka's people being Buddhist, kindness and humbleness shone through every day. Michelle was a 'mother duck' and looked after us all, and attended to any hiccups in a relaxed manner. The best part of our trip is that it was flexible to cater for all our changing needs. Our small group of 6 was awesome and I feel blessed to have spent 10 days with Michelle and the gang.
