Every destination offers something unique — a new culture to discover, breathtaking landscapes to experience, wonderful food to taste and new people to meet. For me, travel is an endless adventure, full of surprises, experiences and memories that stay with you long after you return home.
I’m particularly passionate about cruising. There’s something pretty special about unpacking once, settling into your cabin and simply sitting back and enjoying the journey. I love waking up somewhere new, stepping off the ship to explore, then returning to all the comforts, entertainment, dining and relaxation waiting onboard. For me, cruising is the perfect combination of relaxation, adventure and discovering somewhere new.
I’ve cruised throughout Australia, Europe, Mexico and Alaska, experiencing many different cruise lines including Carnival, Hapag-Lloyd, Cunard, Princess, MSC and Disney, to name just a few.
Another destination I never tire of exploring is the USA. I love the adventure of an American road trip and, having explored many US states, I’ve discovered there is so much more to America than Disney — although I do love all things Disney!
The USA truly has something for everyone — sports, beaches, scenic highways and hidden byways, incredible food, rich history, diverse cultures, world-famous theme parks, music, national parks and unforgettable wildlife experiences. From the bright lights of New York and Los Angeles, the beaches of Florida and bourbon trails of Kentucky, to charming small towns and scenic open roads, there’s always somewhere new to discover.
I’ve also experienced the magic of cruising Alaska, surrounded by mighty glaciers, spectacular scenery and incredible wildlife, including whales, bears and salmon. Exploring places such as Yellowstone, Arches and the Grand Canyon has shown me just how diverse and awe-inspiring the American landscape can be.
And finally, I have a very special place in my heart for Bali — the Island of the Gods. There’s something magical about Bali, from its lush rice terraces and vibrant culture to its beautiful beaches and ancient temples. It’s a place that offers adventure, relaxation and a wonderful sense of peace — and one I never tire of returning to.
For me, travel is about more than simply visiting a destination — it’s about the experiences, the memories and the stories we bring home with us.
